I have a wide foot but can sometimes get away with wearing a regular shoe. Definitely not these. Very narrow. Had to return. Brooks is a great shoe, though, so if you have a wide foot, just go with the brooks wide shoes

These shoes literally fit like a glove and feel wonderful at first. They are snug fitting and slightly compressive because of the fabric. They are supportive and lightweight. The only issue for me, is my high arch and instep. The shoes aren’t very adjustable because of their design. Almost like a slip on with shoe strings. I can’t loosen the shoes in the right spots for the tip of my foot. (I have slender feet with a high instep) ... show more

I took the quiz on the Brooks site to figure out which shoes I should order because the ones I had been wearing were not being made anymore. Everything indicated the levitate would be the best for my high arch issues. I'm so disappointed after wearing them for a while but my plantar fasciitis flared up. The arch is not as supportive as in the other Brooks shoes that I have worn. I didn't realize it until the return window had passed so there goes $150. ... show more

    • Not what I was expecting.

I was very excited to get my Brooks Levitate 4 shoes! Tried them on to find that the tongue wasn’t lying flat on my foot. Just could never get the tongue in the correct position. I own a pair of Levitate 2 & they are my favorite pair. So I returned them.
