I have worn Brooks shoes for years. I chose these because the specs and profile were closest to the older Brooks kicks that I had been wearing, but were unavailable. They may be the same on paper, but very different on the feet. The same size shoes feel almost too wide at the heel and too narrow at the toe box. At first they were not that comfortable but, as I used them, they are more comfortable and supportive. I walk 5 miles a day and these are great for keeping me on track. Will definitely get these again when I wear these out.

I got the wide size as I have wide feet, and was pleasantly surprised at how well they fit. Some reviews suggested they were narrow, but I didn't have an issue. I got these shoes as my dog needs upwards of 4 walks a day and I was developing shin splints with my old shoes. They are much more comfortable, and absorb a good deal of the shock from running, which is much easier on my bones. And they're stylish, too. I have never spent so much on a single pair of shoes before, but they were worth it!

The shoes themselves were really nice and I loved the color. I have wide, flat feet and the toe box was so narrow I couldn't even wear it for 5 minutes before taking them off. I think if it were wider, it would be very comfortable and supportive. Like others have mentioned, the white on top of the shoe is a mesh-like material that is see-through, so your socks may change the overall color of the shoe in that area specifically. I wore white Nike socks to try these on and the "Dry Fit" text at the toe was visible through the shoe. I ended up returning because they were unwearable for me, but if you don't have wide feet, I'm sure these would be a great choice for the price.

I am truly a women's 11.5 med to narrow. Often 11.5 just means a smaller cut men’s 10 (too wide and the arch in the wrong place). Not there’s. These are truly a women’s 11.5!!!
