Perfect sneaker for traveling to Europe and all around!! I’m almost 70 years old. I just spent three weeks on my feet running all over Europe and my feet never hurt for one minute! On cobblestone sidewalks and unbalanced streets, I felt a sense of security in the design of these sneakers like I never have before. The style is really cute even in chilly weather. My feet were warm without sweating. I felt arch support without it being too overwhelming. They look like I walked around the block once ! When I wear my sneakers that are extremely squishy and padded I don’t feel stability like I do in these shoes, but yet they are extremely comfortable and padded!! This is my fourth pair of Brooks but first pair of the Glycerin GTS 22 style. All I can say is that these are the most comfortable pair I’ve ever owned. I can walk for miles and work out, jog, jump and hike with them. It’s like walking on air, like walking on cushions, they’re a dream. I also wear my orthotics with them and the fit is perfect. The toe box is ridiculously wide. I have an average width foot, and it’s so wide it puckers at the bottom of the laces. I decided to try wearing them around the house for a few hours, and they’re REALLY comfortable! I have very high arches and often need orthotic inserts, but I don’t think I’ll need them with these. I like the loop at the top of the heel. It makes them easier to pull on. The tongue is nicely padded and long enough that it doesn’t slip under the top of the laces. The laces are a good quality athletic material that stay tied, and they’re not so long that they drag the ground when tied. They’re also not too short. If Brooks offered a narrow in this color, I’d order them, but they only offer narrow widths in one boring color, usually black, if they’re offered at all. Even though the toe box pucker is annoying and the width looks ridiculously like clown shoes, I may keep them because they’re so comfortable, and I love the color! This color is gorgeous! I wish Brooks would offer it in more of their styles, like Ghost and Adrenaline. I don’t understand why they cost so much more than other Brooks shoes. I had a gift card that softened the blow a little.

I’ve recently started walking 3-4 miles a day and was suffering from plantar fasciitis. I ordered these shoes after reading reviews and amazingly my foot pain went away almost instantly. I’m now able to walk comfortably and not pay for it later. I would definitely recommend for anyone suffering from plantar fasciitis. The fit is great as well, I have a wide foot and the width is great and comfortable.

I bought these for my autistic daughter, who is extremely sensitive to how shoes feel on her feet. Finding something she can tolerate — let alone love — is no small feat. She’s a college student and walks a lot every day, so comfort, support, and durability really matter. She absolutely loves these. She wore them all summer while traveling through Europe, and they held up beautifully. The cushioning is plush without feeling squishy, and the support keeps her comfortable even on long days. She tends to wear through shoes quickly, usually every five months, but the fact that she keeps coming back to this same pair says everything. Yes, they’re on the expensive side, but if you’ve ever gone shoe shopping with someone who has sensory sensitivities, you know — when you find a pair that fits just right, it’s worth every cent.

These are most comfortable sneakers. I dinged it one star because the color is so off. it isn’t a dark raspberry (except for the brooks swoosh), it’s more of a deep salmon. too bad but the fit is fab: stable and cushiony, with excellent support. no break-in period.

Second pair I have bought. Love these shoes. Super comfortable and lots of cushioning. I use them for walking and could walk all day in them. Fit true to size and nice and roomy in the toes. First pair I put a lot of miles on and they lasted a longtime and many miles.

Sizing is off, I am a size 9.5 to 10 in womens shoes and my toes were smushed into the tip of the toe box in the size 10 for these. Super uncomfortable and even a bit painful. My mom tried these in the size 10 I ordered and they fit her well with enough space in the toe box to be comfortable. She is a true size 8.5 to 9 and the size 9 of the brooks ghost17s she owns (right) look pretty close in size to these size 10 glycerins (left). Need to re order them in a larger size. Other than that, these are very squishy and feel amazing on my high arches which is why I ordered them.
