This Glycerin GTS 21 shoe is super comfortable and super supportive. However, it appears to run half size small. I ordered a Brooks Launch 9 running sneaker style in a medium size 8, about 3 months ago and it fit perfectly. But this GTS 21 syle was half size too small so I ordered a 8.5 size and it fits perfectly. My normal shoe size is 7.5 but in ALL sneakers (Sketchers, Ryka) the company tells you that it runs small so I have been ordering size 8 for all my shoes and everything has been fitting fine with a size 8. This is the first time I have had to order a size 8.5. Some reviews of this shoe did say this ran small; hence why I ordered an 8. But 8 was not long enough in this style. I could fit into the shoe but my toe came right to, and touched, the end of the shoe. I was afraid when my feet swelled in the summertime, the shoe might not be comfortable. I am in my 70s and have no cushioning on the bottom of my feet anymore so I need a shoe that has good cushioning to exercise walk 3 times a week or just walk when I am shopping. Normally, I end up adding a cheap chushioned insole in all of my sneakers no matter how much cushion the company says the shoe says it has but I will not need to do that to this one. I would order this again.

Let me start by saying I can't believe I paid $160 for a pair of sneakers. I've been hiking/walking on my treadmill for 3 months now, and have been fighting plantar fasciitis in 1 foot. After talking with a doctor, it was revealed that I under pronate (supination) when I walk. Putting the weight on the outside of my foot, instead of the inside where it belongs. That explained my clumsiness when trying to run, I was all over the treadmill every time. It was suggested that I get some really good supporting sneakers. Either the Puma deviate Nitro or these Brooks. After reading reviews, I decided to give these Brooks a try. These sneakers are awesome! They are lightweight, and they are very cushioning, yet flexible. They are very stabilizing, and the first time with them on the treadmill I was able to run. And the best part? NO PAIN. NO PLANTAR FASCIITIS pain afterwards. Not even at the end of the day. They look to be well made, and I expect to get a lot of use out of them. Well worth the money. I'm already picking out my next color!

Excellent quality & shock absorption. Have plantar fasciitis/ bone spur . Only shoes my foot doesn’t hurt in . Little more than I usually spend on sneakers but worth every penny.

Normally wear a size 10 M shoe and got an 11 in this shoe which works well. Also got a W in order to comfortably fit my orthotic. Shoe fits well and is very comfortable with good cushioning and support.

I wear a size 9 woman’s but in Brooks I have to buy a 9 wide. They’re a bit tight at first but just like any other brand new shoe you need to break them in a little. Once broken in they’re awesome and so comfortable. I love these shoes & this brand. I suggest this type and brand of shoe to fellow friends/coworkers. I work retail and so I am on my feet all day long. The heel has a thick cushioning sole (makes me an inch or so taller). They also breath well. At the end of the day my feet still feel good. I’ve had them for about a year now and they’re still in good shape. They’re stylish too. I get several compliments on them.

So comfortable, great support, easy to clean. I wore them every day to work at an animal rescue ranch and they needed cleaned often. Throw them right in the washing machine and dryer and they lasted the whole year. The are the most supportive sneakers I have ever owned and being on my feet all day walking often over 13,000 steps a day my feet needed something good and these were worth every penny!

I did a lot of research. Before buying I also tried on shoes locally. They felt wonderful as described often. I’m not a runner but said to be great walking shoe too. After wearing 3 times I am sorry I bought them. Maybe a fluke but first time I wore them one foot accidentally stepped in pothole in a parking lot. It lodged in it and I fell. Had to wear a boot 3 months. Next time I wore them was in house 3rd time I walked outside to a park but my son noticed my balance was off and I walked funny. This wasn’t true with old Nikes I wore day earlier. Maybe just me but these were suppose to be great support shoes😒
