I’m not a runner by any means. But I do have a lot of hip and lower back issues. I’ve had a lot of Brooks shoes over the years, but stuck to the Launch or Adrenaline. The amount of cushion provided by the Ghost is just what these old bones needed. Fit true to size. Love the desert camo look to them.

I ordered my first pair in my usual 7.5 wide size. They do run a bit big so I returned for the size 7.0 wide. I am using them for walking on the dirt trails near my home. After 3 days of 2-4 miles each day, I can say they are very comfortable. Good grip on the trail and really comfortable. I have tried other brands and I always go back to Brooks. At my age, I am done trying any other brand. My husband and best friend are in agreement that Brooks is also their brand of choice. ... show more

Absolutely fabulous shoe, but...sadly...I need a higher arch. The arch support is just a tad shy of reaching its goal. I normally wear the Ghost series running shoe from Brooks, but spotted these. They are a very nice addition to the Ghost series. Walking and running where I live tends to be more offroading than pavement. Our town's roads are still gravel and what sidewalk there is has issues. We also attend outdoor auctions. Standing around for hours, walking acres looking at equipment tends to take a toll on my feet. The tread has a fabulous grip and they did the job of cushioning my heel strike very well. The usual good fit I always get from Brooks, and lightweight. Maybe now I won't slide and fall chasing down farm animals! :p ... show more

Love!! I wear Brooks ghost only. Often get male shoes as they are slightly more comfortable in the sizing. Got these in women’s and they do run a little longer in my normal 10 which for me was perfect! No bumping the front of the shoe with my toe. I may get more trail shoes in the future. Grip on the shoes is nice too. I got these offshore with maroon letting. Works perfect for the clothes I wanted to wear with it. ... show more

I did not pay any attention to the info on the shoe that it is a trail shoe. I figured since I walk on trails, they would be ok. But, no. They feel very weird inside. Not comfortable for me. I guess that is why trying shoes on before buying is a good idea, although, Amazon is an easy return!
