I did not want to buy these due to the price even though I know this is the going rate for good shoes. However, I am ecstatic that I did. They are super comfortable right out of the box. Went for a jog in them, no problem whatsoever. There is enough room in the toe box and my foot is supported. The shape is not terribly attractive but I bought the prettiest design I could. I wear an 11 & Amazon suggested an 11.5. I didn't want to but it "warned me" this was the best size based on reviews and returns. Well, it was right. An 11 would have been too short in the toe box. Darned AI, even though it helped. Love these!

Best shoe ever! I have bought these in 3 different colors and wear them all the time. Nothing else is as comfortable. I used to have shin splints (last year). I have not had shin splints wearing these, so I highly recommend them to anyone prone to shin splints. You will not regret. I like how they have a wider toe box, too. Review of: Brooks Women’s Ghost 17 Neutral Running Shoe Color: Grey/Chateau Grey/Portabella Size 7.5 By measurement, I'm a size 7 regular/medium. Most of my exercise shoes are 7.5 regular, as is this one. The width is perfectly comfortable on me. Snug at first, but after 3 weeks of a lot of wear they feel incredible. Length is great, although just barely. The foot bed is soft but firm. Not squishy. I need a decent arch support and these are nice and high and sturdy. The color (see above) is gorgeous and will coordinate with anything. The heel stays put without sliding. The heel also has the new heel style that makes them easy to slide your feet into, and you don't feel it at all when you point your toe. Great cushioning in the soles. I feel stable and straight with my slight overpronation. I immediately went on vacation when these shoes arrived, so I took a chance. I walked about 10,000 steps a day for 8 days! Including rushing through airports. These shoes felt amazing the entire time. Only took a couple of days to stretch just perfectly to my feet. At first they were digging into my ankles :( It's towards the front of the inner ankle on both shoes/feet. After an hour in them I had dents in the skin. It's right at the point where the top shoe lace hole is. It's a hard piece with no cushion. The Ghost 14 was not like this. However, I took those points and bent them backwards quite aggressively several times in the first day. I also loosened the laces all the way down the shoe, then tied them just a bit looser than I normally would. I wore them around the house for an entire day like this and they felt GREAT. Then I took them on my trip and had no issues. So I was able to completely solve that issue. I've seen others complain of the same thing. I have skinny ankles, a bit bony you might say. So it's not an issue of my size. So although I do think the manufacturer should try to fix the issue, I was able to fix it myself. It's a great shoe and I highly recommend.

Super ugly but very comfortable. I wear these everyday at work. I stand and walk a lot on concrete in a warehouse. Arch support is good. They’re holding up well and they grip well on wet polished concrete. I only wish they didn’t look like the grandma shoes. (The style is obviously different but when I see them, I’m reminded of the New Balance 530 sneakers. I can’t unsee it. Yuck.) Too bad these are the best shoes I’ve ever had or I’d chuck them just for that.

When I first tried these on, I was a little worried they might be stiff and uncomfortable. I am so glad I kept them! I took these on a trip to London and Scotland and we did a TON of walking in the rain. My feet stayed completely dry and these shoes were supportive and comfortable right out of the box. They are truly waterproof and perfect if you are going to be walking or running in the rain. I bought my usual size for Brooks and the fit was perfect. They’re lightweight, supportive, and the perfect shoe for travel to a rainy destination or just for running/walking on a rainy day at home.

These are awesome shoes! Much more cushiony/supportive with better arch support than the brooks I’ve worn in the past (ghost 15 and previous). I work at a hospital and do a lot of walking/standing. Had been having a lot of pain in my hips and knees. These are so soothing and wish I had spent the money sooner. The color says grey but they are more off white which I like better anyway. Love the brown soles. Good shoes in healthcare are so important and hard to find. I love them so much I want more pairs lol.
