BEST FITTING SHOE EVER!! I've got lots of foot issues. I've had stress fractures ALOT " too much walking" docs say..seriously..goofey right? Bunions & hammertoes plus feet are wide & with bunions horrible to find right shoe. Spent waaaaaay too much money on shoes I think are " the right one" until now..These brooks ghost 17 are AMAZINGfeel like slippers so comfortable & give such great support to my feet (a gift from from my dear Mom) I knew from the get go as soon as I put them on bought second pair..been back to walking thank you Brooks for finally making the best shoe on the planet!!!! I've been wearing Brooks Ghost for years now. Don't know how many, but more than a couple. Anyway, they are always comfy, but these are supremely comfy! I put them on when I got them this afternoon and I dont want to take them off. I sometimes take out the insoles and buy super-duper ones to put in them, but they dont really need them. This pair, especially, is just perfect the way they are. I always wear a 6 in a regular shoe, but wear a 7.5 in these shoes and they are perfect. These are like an aqua color with navy accents and are my most favorite color of any I've ever had. After the first pair I had awhile ago, I dont even need to try them on. I just go into a running shoe store and tell them I want Brooks Ghost in 7.5 and they're perfect every time. So i wasn't hesitant about getting these online because I just knew they would fit. And they do.

Love the shoes, very comfy, stylist and durable. The only issue is fit in the side of the foot. You really need a taller sock, no shows don't seem to be big enough. They seem better than Ghost 16s. We have try Hokas and these seemed better for walking. FYI, this color very hard to see in stores.

I'm 58 years old and training for my second 5k run. I did have some knee problems, now I do not. I'm not saying this shoe is the cure for knee problems. I'm saying it's that the right shoe can help with the pounding that my knee deals with while I'm jogging. This is the most comfortable jogging shoe I have had in a long long time; I feel the bounce (maybe it's my imagination because it feels good to jog in a great shoe). I'm also meeting my daily jog challenge. This shoe was very worth the money.
