I LOVE these shoes. These are my third pair of the ghost 14/16. They are super comfortable, and provide great arch support. These shoes saved my back. I work in law enforcement, and after 8 hours standing on concrete at the range, my back felt fine. Several of my co-workers bought a pair after my recommendation, and have thanked me. I particularly love the wide toe area (in the regular size). I will never own another brand of runners. I don't wear these shoes on my regular work shift, do to the mess material, but wear them pretty much every day and they hold up. One pair is worn only at range, the second pair I wear regularly, and they've lasted over a year.

This is the first review I have ever written for shoes. I ordered 3 (XW) pairs of these (total) after I wore the first pair on vacation. They are extremely comfortable and supportive. I am so pleased I found these. The XW also come in black and are great for wearing to work. The pink and blue combination in the XW looks good together. I ordered my regular size in XW and also one half size smaller in XW to find which ones fit better. The smaller XW fit better. My kids also wear these to work (regular width and wide width) in different colors and in black. They wear their regular size they always wear, no sizing up or down. Worth every penny because of the quality, fit, and support they give.

I love Brooks shoes! These did not feel as "wide" as my other Brooks of the same size but they are still comfortable. I ended up with a blister on the back of my right heel after the first wearing but then it was fine. I walk 5 to 7 miles per day in them. Nice support, some cushioning, great tread, and beautiful color! A little heavy but I just see that as weight training! Would highly recommend.

Thank you Amazon for the less than 24 hours delivery! These Brooks Ghost are amazingly comfortable! I'm recovering from broken 5th matarsal bone in my foot! This shoe was Doctors recommended and I'm more than happy after wearing them. Very comfortable, supportive, excellent guality, fits true to size! I'm walking comfortably in them. Thank you so much to the Brooks company for making these awesome shoes!

Although I returned these I did so hesitantantly. They were so comfy but alas they were too small. I LOVE Brooks Ghost shoes. Actually all Brooks are amazing but my favorite is the ghost series. These 16s differ from the 15s in the width of the toe box. They are more narrow, so for those with wide feet like myself these shoes probably aren't for you. I would highly suggest you look at the ghost 15s however! I kid you not they saved me from excruciating pain. I work in food service and I would be in tears halfway through my work day. By the time I got off I would be limping and miserable. I tried so many other shoes and nothing helped! Until I found Brooks. The ghost 15s could not be more comfortable! They are like walking on a cloud. They have great arch support, a mesh top which makes them less constrictive and more breathable than others shoes. They are hands down the best shoes I have tried. If you are considering purchasing them just do it! I promise you won't be disappointed! Especially if you've been in pain and need a shoe to help relieve it. I typically wear a size 8 1/2 wide and with the ghost 15s I purchased a 9 wide and they fit perfectly. The 9 regular ghost 16s were too narrow.
