Usually I wear my shoes inside the house for at least a week to test them out in case they need to be returned. I only had to wear these a couple hours and I was sold! They are light weight and have plenty of room for my toes and bunion. I bought an 8 Wide. I used to buy New Balance because it was hard to find wide sneakers but found the quality isn’t what it used to be. This is my 2nd pair of Brooks. My physical therapist recommended Brooks to me after total hip replacement surgery. She recommended this and another Brand. I found this Brooks Brand to be more comfortable. I bought both brands and tried them over a period of 3 months. Brooks is softer on the inside and very sturdy sturdy on the outside. The other brand is sturdy too, and a great shoe, but I love the softness inside of Brooks. I wear them everyday and they help me to run, climb and walk easily after total hip replacement surgery! ... show more

I have been going through looking for sneakers forever and finally found my perfect pair. I am 7.5 regular shoe and ordered 8 wide because I have a bunion on right foot and suffer from plantar fasciitis. Years of working out and running have put a toll on these feet. I didn’t want to pay the price for these Brooks but fortunately they were on sale! Every thing I read about them from podiatrist articles was on spot for me. I just know for my feet they are the answer because this ole dog is not ready to give up walking or exercise, had to say bye to running! Also my nature walks no pain on back or knees! I got every shoe you can imagine. By far, my favorites are Brooks. It was not only recommended by my pediatrist, but also the shoe that is sold at a store that specializes in foot issues. Anyway, I would have liked a little more cushion at the bottom, but overall, I give this shoe a 9 out of 10. I did size up by a 1/2 size to give more room for my toes. The toe box is good. So far, it seems to be comfortable and no issues with my planters fasciitis, though I recently had a cortisone shot, so I'll have to wait in see if this solves the problem once the cortisone shot effects wear off in a few months. ... show more

I had Achellis tendon/ foot surgery for the second time in November 2022. After the long healing & recovery process my foot Doctor recommended these shoes and they are the best shoes I have ever worn. Great support, fits snuggly and are definitely comfortable. I love these shoes they are nice to look at and very comfortable and not to heavy. These are my 2nd pair of Brooks and the first pair I’ve had now for 4 years and are still in excellent condition and I am very hard on shoes. My big toe always seems to poke through and on the pair I’ve had for a while there is no sign of toe poking, so I am hopeful these will be the same ... show more

I don't wear these for running, but they are great for casual days in leggings and wearing for power walks. Great cushion and support. I have tried the Brooks Glycerin as well, and those are too narrow for me. I purchased these in my normal size (not wide) and they fit perfectly. The toe box is nice and roomy. These are amazing! I have some "slight" foot problems and need some cushion. These do not disappoint and have been so comfortable right out of the box.
