I walk daily on pavement, and my gait is quick. This shoe is so comfortable, it supports my arch (I have a high arch), provides appropriate support and cushioning at the same time. The best fit of any Brooks I own. I originally ordered a size 7, which I normally wear, but they felt small so I ordered a half size larger and they are great.

This is my maybe 6th pair of Ariel/Beast and the first that I had some trouble with the size. My street shoe size is 9.5 but I always wear a 10.5 in the Ariel. I like this shoe for the motion control and support. My last 3 pair were the 2020 model. When I ordered the same size, the left shoe was too narrow and I was afraid it would rub (I could deal with the faded Ebony color). So I returned those and got the 10.5 wide, but they really seem too big. I'm going to try to make these work, but doing intervals they felt a little loose which was disconcerting. The support is still great, cushioning is good. But the sizing is absolutely not the same as the 2020 model. ... show more

Best shoes I’ve ever owned. I have severe Overpronation and these shoes have been a God send for me. I think they must run smaller As I had to get a 9 wide. They are so nice and are like heaven on my poor aging feet.

These shoes are just not comfortable. They are well made I believe. The buying process was fine. The product is as described. This is my second pair of Brooks and it will be my last. I had a similar experience with the first pair but due to the great reputation of Brooks and that they seem to work so well for others I decided to give them another shot. They are not for me. I am not able to return at this point because I kept trying to work with them to see if I could make them work for me and they are just going to be given to someone else. Never again. I gave three stars because I believe the product is good however for me personally they are a one star. ... show more
