I have never written an Amazon review, but these arrived today and I feel compelled to share my initial reaction. To be clear, I haven't worn them out yet so keep that in mind. This review speaks solely to the fit and appearance, but considering other reviews, I'm hopeful they will serve my feet well. Some context: I have incredibly flat feet and over the past two years I've had cartilage replaced in my ankle, underwent flat foot reconstruction surgery, and began suffering from osteoarthritis in my foot and ankle. All that to say, shoes have been unbelievably important throughout all of this. I've been wearing Asics and New Balance, both of which have served me well, but find the shoes that offer the support I need to be incredibly bulky. I haven't had a pair of shoes in the last 2 years that I've been excited about or felt I've looked good in. The heels are SO THICK. These Brooks are the complete opposite. Even though they have a thick heel, they feel so much less bulky than my other shoes. They fit my feet well and my orthotics fit snuggly inside. I can honestly say this is the first time I've felt excited about a pair of shoes in years. I still need to make sure they offer the support I need, but I want to let anyone who might feel the same way I do know that this style is a game changer.

I bought these for walking. 13 yrs ago, my Podiatrist told me to wear Brooks shoes that will support my arches and help my pronation and fasciitis. I got a pair of Brooks Trance back then, and they are still in good condition! After much research I decided to get these Adrenalines. I love the look and they feel great initially, but after an hour of walking I got a new inflammation in a bone on the side of one foot. Brooks offers a 90 day GO HAPPY guarantee, but there was no way to contact the Amazon seller Charm City Shoes. I thought I was buying them from Brooks directly, because I got to the seller's page through "visit the Brooks Store". I couldn't do an Amazon return because I wore the shoes for 2 days. I contacted Brooksrunning.com, and they helped me to figure out that I really need a "neutral" support shoe, and they are sending me my choice of Ghost15 shoes. So this is a cute shoe, with great support for someone else, and Brooks is an awesome company.

I have the Adrenaline GTS 21’s as well. The 22’s are as comfortable & supportive. I ordered the same size as I had and they fit well (10.5 Wide.) the laces are a full 3” shorter on the GTS 22’s than they were on the GTS 21’s. On another note, the laces that came with my 21’s looked far better with my new 22’s than the plain black laces that came with them. The new laces are also a flat style. I switched them & am using my old laces in my new Adrenalines. If you have a little arthritis in your hands those flat, shorter laces are harder to tie. The shoe itself is great. I switched a couple years ago from a Brooks Ariel to the Adrenaline GTS & have been very happy with the amount of support & cushioning. Great balance.

I have a very severe overpronation and a super high arch, especially on my left foot. I am a Hoka user, a Birkenstock user, ortopedic insoles user. I decided to try this Brooks GTS 22. Impressive. I did not even change the original insoles as I usually do, the structure of the sneakers is so strong that it completely avoid my feet to do wrong movements and the insoles are as supportive as customized insoles. I agree they are not the most beautiful design available, but frankly, it is a detail that makes no difference when you have the kind of shin splints and lumbar pain I have caused by overpronation. Totally recommend.

In the past year, I have rolled both of my ankles independently from each other and have dealt with severe plantar fasciitis on my right foot that was complicated by a rupture in my plantar fascia last fall. I wore a walking boot and support braces for 6 weeks. This was tough because my job requires that I walk 4-8 miles per day. I was always in pain and my other shoes didn't help at all. I decided to try these out and I am really impressed. My foot pain and sore ankles have improved dramatically(I'd say 85%) so far and it continue to improves the longer I wear them. I'm sold. I will probably buy only these for athletic shoes from now on. I have already walked over 100 miles in them and they're holding up well(although they are a little dirty obviously). They seem sturdy, the materials are good quality, and the support my whole foot with plenty of arch support, a wider toe box, and support my heel well. If only other shoes were this comfy!

I have worn Brooks for years. I don't have to wear my orthotics with them so that's a plus. This pair has less cushion than the older pairs. Each year seems like there is less cushion. The foot support is still good, their roomy and color is great. But had to get new shoe inserts with some cushion. Still a good shoe though. I got mine for under $100 that's a deal for Brooks .

Very pleased with these shoes. Always liked ASICS and UA, still do but I may lean more towards this brand. Ordered a 9W, glad I went with my gut. Last time I ordered a wide running shoe they looked wide, always felt a tad loose and they were hideous looking, in other brands. These don’t look wide, kids right away complimented the shoe and they fit like a glove in all the right places. One complaint is the black/coral/purple looks more like midnight blue than black, was worried that would happen, not worth returning because of the color. The other complaint, shoelaces ARE short, I had to take them out of the top loop, now that I read reviews this is the biggest complaint, apparently Brooks hasn’t responded to feedback, which is a shame. Still, a very nice shoe!

Have 4 pairs of these shoes that I rotate through daily and sometimes twice a day if I go to the gym twice. They help me with my pronation of my foot. I don’t hurt after wearing them. Excellent shoes and will probably buy another pair if they go on sale to replace my oldest pair.
