Crocs are ugly and hot, and I refused to wear them in public, but hated changing shoes every time I left the house. My feet and legs love the comfort and support of these Brooks! I believe they run a little smaller than most shoes, so opted for a size larger and wider. No issues when wearing them all day and into the night!     • Good expensive walking shoe, just not made for cardio type exercises

I needed a really good pair of shoes for working out in. These are more for walking than say dancing workouts, which is mainly what I do for my workouts. They started out really well and then by 6 months in, they were causing pain in my left heel. I stopped wearing them and switched to another pair of shoes. I only use these for walking now. So if all you do is walk, these are great for that type of exercise. I'm kind of disappointed that these did not work the way I needed them to in ways of giving me extra support for my dancing exercises and considering the price tag on these shoes. These were the most expensive shoes I have ever bought and now they're just for walking in. The fabric is very breathable. I like the color, but I wish they had a wider selection of colors to choose from. I probably will not buy another pair of Brooks again. These were true to size. The quality is well-made. I have not worn these in the rain, so I'm not sure if they're waterproof or not or if water comes through the front of the shoe or not. ... show more

Brooks are the absolute best shoes I’ve ever worn for my plantar fasciitis! ..And I’ve tried a few different brands. I’ll be buying a new pair of Brooks approximately every five years because they’re that durable. Granted I do mostly office work in farmers markets. I absolutely love this brand if you go for the extra wide be absolutely sure wide isn’t wide enough because extra wide was ridiculously big for me and I have wide feet. I wear a size 12wide in women’s 10 to 10 1/2 in men’s and a wide in most cases is perfect. Like I said before I suffer from plantar fasciitis and I also had surgery on my foot and so when I’m out walking, my foot will swell quite a bit and I put elastic shoelaces on my shoes for this issue and Brooks has always held up really well. These are always perfect. They are so light weight m, breathable and flexible, they don’t pinch or cause pressure points and the durability makes the value for your money extremely good. There are a few things I will spend over $100 and it’s very very few, a mattress, long lasting appliances, a coat, shoes and any well made pair of jeans. ... show more

My feet didn't hurt in fact they felt good but as I walked, it would throw me forward. I was afraid to go for walks with them, I might fall!! Also very chunky soles. Another style, same brand was also clunky sneakers. They must all be like that. I thought brooks was supposed to be good brand. Also hurt my back,by throwing my gait off ... show more
