These are very nice walking shoes with good traction, good cushioning and good ankle and arch support. I usually have felt I needed to purchase narrow width shoes (13B) but I was pleasantly surprised that these regular width size 13 shoes fit me well. I find these to be very comfortable when I walk up to two miles even on slightly irregular ground. I think the mesh construction helps them to fit a range of foot widths. I appreciate that they are offered in a range of bright colors and I feel they are a good value for the price of just above $60 when I purchased them.

Looks great. Clean, appropriate for casual outfits, running, or the gym. I bought this shoe after wearing 4 different pairs of Brooks Ghosts after the last few years. Those have more cushion and feel sturdier than the Trace, but they also have a price point that reflects additional comfort features. This shoe is currently in rotation for me for running and strength training. It is not designed to be a weightlifting shoe, but I find it comfortable for all gym activities except squats... because it's a running shoe, so it isn't supposed to work for squats. I've only put about 20 miles on the shoes as far as running is concerned in the 10ish days I've had them. Those first miles are usually the toughest on my feet, but I've noticed no blistering or discomfort in any way. They do seem a little more narrow than the Brooks Ghosts I'm used to, but there is plenty of room in the toe box and I am considering buying these in a second color.

I bought these as my second pair of Brooks shoes. I love the color and shoe is comfortable. Unfortunately, my first pair of Brooks is the Ghost 15 which is superior in every way and for the price difference they should be. I'm not a runner, I just walk a lot in both models. The Trace has a more snug fit and feel but the Ghost has more miles on them so it may be normal stretching of the material. Both are good for me but the Trace is less expensive.
