I ordered the shoes 1/2 size bigger then normal and they fit great. My daily life has me walking extensively and I was getting sore feet and rub marks with my walking shoes of the past 4 years. Randomly picked this pair of brooks because my daugher is a runner and suggested. The do feel a touch like a running shoe but the heal is not dramatically higher then the footbed. Makes nice walking shoe. if they last 6 months, I will buy another set. My feet and my walking are important to me.

I like the casual style of shoe could be worn out for dinner or running around ,is very light weight and comfy . My only concern is the flimsy insole ,so I amped it up with a aftermarket gell insole and have a great shoe for everything . I’m traveling to Europe this summer and plan on using this shoe for travel ,I’ll be doing lots of walking around and I think this shoe will be perfect .

This is my first pair of Brooks and I wish I had started wearing them sooner. Walking over 1500 miles a year, I have gone through many pairs of New Balance, Skechers and Keen shoes. All have great features, but wear out quickly and it seems as their popularity grows, their quality decreases. So far, these Brooks shoes have held up incredibly well, and felt comfortable from the first time I put them on. Do yourself a favor and listen to the advice that Brooks gives. Order one half to one size larger than you normally do and you will be good to go. I questioned that advice, but ordered 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly.
