The first day I wore these, I went for a walk, and upon my walk was a nice big pile of dog doo doo. I was unaware of those big pile of doo doo until it was too late. As I flew backward, I recall looking up at the sky, and to my surprise, I saw one of my brand new shoes flying by. Then, the next thing I know, I'm lying there on the sidewalk. I was in such shock that I laid there for what felt like forever. I slowly began to rise onto my feet as I stood there, I paused for a few seconds and closed my eyes, yelling in my head why me. All of a sudden, I started to smell a strong, foul odor. I reached my hand around to my back only to abruptly bring it right back, and to my surprise, my hand was covered in dog poop. I immediately ran to the grass and tried to wipe it off all while tears ran down my face. I remember thinking to myself, can this day get any worse, IT DID behind me was a loud bark. It startled me, causing me to jump and lose my balance. And I was now on the ground once more. on my hands and knees, I angrily turned around while cursing at this dog, the dog whom I believed to be this doggy doo doo bandit, and when I set my eyes on this dog, my anger turned into pleading, pleading for this dog to drop my shoe. I slowly began to approach the dog. As I inched close enough, I made a daring attempt to jump on the dog, and as you can guess, I failed the dog ran off with my shoe in its mouth. With my head down low, covered in dog poop with only one shoe on, I began to walk home. but for the short time I wore them, they were pretty decent shoes just not slip-resistant. hope this helps your decision on whether to buy these shoes or not.

I will admit, I was going to go with On Clouds but these Brooks were half the price. I've been running in crappy New Balances, so I decided to treat myself to real running shoes. I also tried out the Adrenaline GTS. I have wide feet... I prefer EEEE but EE can usually work. The GTS's were heavier, pricier, and didn't fit my running style. The outside edge of the heel landed first, which then jerked my foot and ankle inward. I'm sure there is a running name for this process. I didn't like that. The Launches didn't do this, so combined with the price, ample cushioning (compared to my NB's) and feather light weight, they stay and the GTS's go. The On Clouds will have to wait...

I’ve put 170 miles on these as daily trainers so far. I wanted a shoe that would replace the ghost 14s I had worn for 500 miles, but due to becoming faster and switching to a midfoot strike over the past year, I wanted a lighter shoe with lower drop, an advanced ghost if you will. The major difference with this shoe is the upper is thinner, less cushion, and less padded tongue. They feel great though so I don’t miss the extra weight. These are my favorite for long runs where I can start out at an easy pace and progress to marathon pace. I still bought another pair of ghost 14s because these don’t handle recovery pace as well, and I would probably use a kinvara or endorphin speed for faster than marathon or half marathon pace runs but these are easily one of my favorite shoes of all time.

Had these for a couple months and they’re holding up nicely. Use them for running on treadmill and pavement mostly. Just ran a turkey trot in them on grass and they were fine. My first pair of Brooks and I’d buy some more.

I have had Brooks shoes for over a decade. Great balance of comfort, longevity, performance, and price. These newest shoes are comfy for long walks and are light as a feather. The footbed is firm and the soles have a nice springy feel to them.

I have a white pair of Brooks as well as a black pair of Brooks running shoes. I'm a senior now and I use them for walking and I don't like to wear socks. They fit nice and snug while being very comfortable to wear. I just go about my day and I guess the best thing I can say about them is that I forget I have them on.
