Comfortable shoe for walking and casual settings. I also have the Hyperion Tempo that I run with. I wish they would have kept making them. The newer marshmallow versions are to mushy, effortless running is not how I would describe them as they advertise.

If you like the first edition of the Hyperion Max, this is the perfect replacement shoe, but it is about $20-$40 cheaper with a lower drop (for a Brooks shoe) and a decent cushion. It is the perfect daily trainer shoe that can also be used for slightly faster runs. Please note that they have not advertised this shoe as a speed or a race shoe. This shoe is excellent.
