I purchased these following an extensive achilles surgery. Was look for something without a heel drop, and a sneaker that wouldn't put a lot of pressure on my achilles. These sneakers were perfect! They fit like putting on a sock, and the cushioning is amazing. Because of the sock like fit, there is not a lot of lateral support, which disclaimer, I am not a runner, especially after my surgery. But, for every day wear, these are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. Will purchase again when I wear this pair out. Going on almost a year, and they are holding up great.

Great comfort, awesome support. Not super bouncy, but just what I needed for walking about eight miles a week for a year. I also like the top part, how it feels like a sock! Not a lot will be able to slip in to your shoe. May not be for everyone, but I think it’s cool. Cool color too. But not as cool as the picture made it look. It’ll get the job done though! :)

I ordered these because they are one of the few good shoes listed for neutral feet (under pronating, suppinators, etc...). I typically wore older models of Asics Nimbus but decided to give these a try because I think they look better and my wife swears by her Glycerins. They are a little cushier/bouncy than I like but not a deal breaker and still comfortable. I am not a jogger anymore, just a walker. The tongue is stretchy and sewn into the sides so it acts like a slip-on for me. I keep the laces tied loose enough to slip them on and the tongue is tight enough to easily keep the shoes on but still comfortable. I can always tighten the laces if needed. I ordered a version a couple of years old to save money.

6 Month Review. I wear these once a day to put 4 miles on a tread mill, 5 to 6 days a week. I do not run though. 4mph brisk walk at 14% incline for an hour. 2 days after switching all calf and shin pain was gone. Shoes look like new still. The stealth fit is great, could wear without laces to be honest. They were a little snug when I first got them, though I was 60 pounds heavier as well. So if you have a wide foot, or very high arch, they may be too snug at first. When these finally wear out, I will be getting another pair. No thought involved. Side not I did try a set with the stability control system first, they made my feet hurt right away. Thought I needed them due to the wear pattern on my previous soles. However, new shows show even wear with out stability control. Though wear is minimal after 500 miles +/-

They are hard to put on but once you get them on they feel amazing! most comforatable Atheletic footware shoe I ever wore. Well worth the money. I have a Morton's/Greek foot and I have Nuropathy and I get the gout sometimes so I have damage to my joints. When I don't have gout I wear them. You can't put them on if you have gout because they grasp onto your upper forefoot. But man I love wearing these when I can. I love all brooks shoes. Way better than Nike or Adidas and the others.
