This type of foam don't let them fool you, it is made from foam like packing material and not some advance type of material. The shoe looked great until I tried them on. Older, heavier, less experienced runner…had been running in Nimbus till they got squeaky, then NB 1080 v13/14…this shoe is a great next step from those. Cushioned, but very supportive and not mushy at all. The Nimbus 28 makes me feel like it wants me to slow down…the Glycerin Max 2 is OK with a little pace and great for easy miles. The roll off the toe takes a little adjustment…it’s almost like it wants to push you forward…but it’s not as noticeable after a few miles. Loved the NB but the 1080 v15 feels like a step back…needed an alternative and this one seems great. Comfortable tongue, sizing seems right on. Have not tried the new Flex so can’t compare with that. ... show more

The first Glycerine Max is good. the glycerine max 2's toe box is too narrow. My first two toes hurt from being squished after walking for only like 40 minutes. i had high hopes, really disappointing! Besides the toe box being too small, it feels like a good shoe.
