  • Best version of the Glycerin
Size: 8 Color: Black/Grey/White
I have been running in the Glycerin line for a few years now and the 22 is a massive step up from the previous model. The main thing I noticed right away is the new nitrogen infused foam. It feels really plush when your heel hits the ground but it still has a nice bit of pop when you push off so you do not feel like you are sinking into the shoe. It is the perfect balance for long road runs where you want to protect your knees without feeling slow. The fit was spot on for me in my usual size 8. The knit upper is stretchy enough that my toes do not feel cramped even toward the end of a long run when my feet start to swell a bit. I also really like that the heel collar is padded enough to keep my foot locked in without any rubbing or blisters. I have put about 50 miles on these so far on both pavement and light trails and the grip is holding up great. They are breathable enough for humid morning runs and they just feel like a high quality piece of gear. If you are looking for a reliable daily trainer that stays comfortable for double digit mileage these are definitely worth it. ... show more

  • Great walking shoe!
Size: 10.5 X-Wide Color: Primer Gray/Ebony/Bluewash
The 4E fits me really well. The sole is both soft and firm, and great for long duration walking or running. Support is great, comfort is stellar. IMHO Brooks hit a home run with the Glycerin 22.

  • Comfortable and light
Size: 8 Color: Dusty Olive/Tea/Orange
Great shoe. Light and comfortable, I have a wider foot and the toe box isn’t too narrow. The color was exactly as pictured and they feel solid and stable. Would buy again.

  • Great Shoes For Walking!
Size: 9.5 Color: White/Grey/Black
I’m a big Brooks fan! I bought these because they are well made and provide added cushion and stability when walking. They are wry comfortable for long walks and extended periods of standing.

  • Great shoe for me
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Black/Country Blue/Orange Pop
Great shoe. Style is good. Comfort was very good. Fit is good. Was good enough that I bought a second pair!

  • Must get the correct size for good fit.
Size: 10.5 Color: Black/Country Blue/Orange Pop
The Brooks Size 101/2 Mens Glycerin 22 I purchased was recommended over the Ghost Sneaker by 2 Salespeople from a large Shoe Store and a Large Sport Store. My last Brooks Purchase before the Glycerin was A Ghost 16 Size 11 That Sneaker that was very comfortable but wore out quickly from use. The Ghost 16 also had one toe break thru the top lining of the Shoe. I purchased the Glycerin 22 was comfortable in the Store but after a couple days at home it was too tight in the Toe area and hurt my toes and side of my foot after walking. I have to return the Glycerin 22 as I did explain to sales people that I need extra room in the toe area as I wear Compression Stockings. during my order process a person made note that the Glycerin 22 was the correct size for me. I ordered on line with Amazon as comments were Strong for the Glycerin 22. My opinion of what might work is a size 11 Wide?? for Comfort?? I do like Brooks and the delivery of my order and return of the order mistake was handled perfect. One sales person fit me to a size 11/12 and $60.00 worth of Inserts to make the shoe fit???? I will stay with Brooks if I can get fit properly ... show more

  • Stylish and comfortable
Size: 9.5 Color: Primer Gray/Gray/Honey Ginger
Great pair of shoes. I discovered these at a store and have ordered my second pair on Amazon at a much better price. I'm wearing them as we speak. Top-notch support for 500 miles guaranteed. Very good looking shoe.

  • Best "Amusement Park" shoes I have ever owned!
Size: 11 Wide Color: Primer Gray/Ebony/Bluewash
Bought these in preparation to go to Disneyland. Got them a month or so before hand so I could break them in. On "Disney Day" they performed perfectly. They kept my feet, ankles, calves and knees comfortable all day. These are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. I grew up in Anaheim, so I have been to DL at least a hundred times. It's what you do when you live there. I have left the park limping and sore for the next couple of days. This was DEFINITELY not the case with these shoes. I love these shoes and will buy another pair. BUT...you should also know that there is a shelf life to the comfort level. I would clock it at 75-100 miles of walking. I have probably doubled that at this point. They are still pretty comfy, but not as "cloud-like" as they were when I first got them. ... show more
