I’m an RN/Paramedic at a major level 1 trauma ED. To say I’m always on the run for up to 16 hours at a time is an understatement. I’m also not getting any younger (just turned 40 and been doing this since I was a teenager!) Pain had recently started to become an increasingly significant limiting factor for me. I suffer from extremely painful ingrown toes on both feet regularly, and I also have a calcaneal spur on one side. As if that wasn’t enough, I also have psoriatic arthritis which historically affects my feet and knees. More and more, I found myself coming home from a long shift and thinking I just couldn’t do this anymore. Out of desperation, I started searching online for shoes that might be less painful. If you’ve ever googled “best shoes for foot pain”, plus or minus the word “nurse”, then you know how vast (and utterly contradictory) the results are. Many of the options I was finding were quite pricey. I really couldn’t justify wasting hundreds of dollars on shoes repeatedly, on some quest for mythical pain-free footwear. After thinking I knew what brand I was going to try (and flip flopping several times over several weeks) I finally bought these. WOW! These shoes have been nothing short of life changing. I had literally forgotten what it even felt like to be pain free until I started wearing these. I knew after the very first shift I wore them that they were incredible. I no longer experience pain in my feet, knees, legs, or hips after a long day. I wouldn’t have believed a pair of shoes could make such a dramatic impact if I hadn’t experienced it myself. Do yourself a favor and buy these!

I have been looking for a shoe to help with my constant sore feet for years. I found 1 or 2 that seemed ok, but they were butt ugly (I still have some dignity) and not worth the money to try out long term. After trying these out in a local store, I was sold. To bad the local store did not have the version I wanted available for several weeks. I have put about 240 miles (6 miles a day) walking in these so far, and my feet don't hurt at all. I did install a high arch insole because of my high arches, but the standard shoe was very comfortable without them.

Best shoes for comfort and those with foot pain, such as plantar fasciitis. Tried a lot of the shoes that offer maximum cushioning like Nike’s, Adidas, and Asics, but these Brooks provide the best support for distribution of weight that corrects gait and alleviates pain.

Got these Brooks shoes after reading reviews, looking for a good new pair for walking on hard floors all day, they seemed a good choice. They're not bad at all, they fit well enough and are well designed, I've had them for about 6 months and I just changed to new insoles, so don't know if they're wearing out or my feet are the problem. Was hoping these would last at least a year but I kind of feel like I want to look for better new shoes. Construction wise , they're holding up well , I only wish I'd gotten more use out of them.

Lift, soft, and breathable. Can stand on these puppies all day. Took them for a run and it feels like I’m running on clouds. Work or play? These shoes are definitely the way.

I work on concrete all day and these have been much better than the hokas I purchased before. The price is high don’t get me wrong but you get what you pay for with these. I did change the insoles out for some with a tad more cushion since I got them when I had tendinitis is one of my feet and it has made it bearable to deal with it at work. I recommend these over hokas. They last longer and are wider.
