  • Best shoes ever made, you can barely feel the ground
Size: 11 Wide Color: Black/Black/Ebony
These shoes are the sign of Jesus, God, whatever you believe in. These are a real true steal these shoes right here. Happy is a massive understatement. I have very very bad foot pain, caused by a high arch, severe platar fasciitis with bumps the size of dates which means I can't even use an arthotic insert, and a degenerative bone disorder. Imagine being stabbed in your feet for years at random and getting used to it. I also have bad knees, and a bad back. 5 years of surgery bad. So these shoes, are the best shoes ever made at least in my case and until I find something better which I doubt, I'm only using these. I got the Wide ("2E") version and that gives me a good amount of room, I usually get Wide. The lower cushioned sole stops basically any, any feeling of anything on the ground. The insole inside makes it even better. I tried using a gel insole that worked for about a day then didn't. I placed the brooks insole back in, I should have never taken it out. They are light weighted. The sidings do not jab your sides at all. The Tongue of the shoe is comfortable and fluffy, not tight. They breathe very very well. I walk all day in trecherous environments. No sweat, no heat. The design is very modern I must say they did a very good job there. I'm not the type that wants flashy weird crazy designs and glitter stuff, just basic, nothing crazy no attention, so these are great their design is a great selling point. I hope they continue with that trend for these. You don't need to break these in, like when you put them on, that is what you will continuously get. I myself work in an industry around very heavy equipment, and I have to walk many miles per day (2, 5,15, 20) non stop and fast, while carrying equipment, crazy angles, up ladders, stairs, hills, then standing for long or short periods anywhere between 1-40 minutes, then going again like insanity, for between 8-16+ hours per day, sometimes even more than 24 hours, around concrete, sand, gravel, grass, water, mud, jagged rocks, you name it, every single day. I must say, I have driven with these on. It's an experience you must try it. Why go to a mechanic? Just wear Brooks.... I've used Merrell, Keen and Sketchers GoGa Max whatever they're called for years, Sketchers ZenGo Max whatever, was the only thing I could wear but you just can't get away with those puffy light shoes at my job. It seemed like the cheapest pair of foam shoes like that were the only things that would work for me until I got Brooks Ghost 15, which saved me, then I got these Ghost Max 3's a few years later a month ago, and the entire world changed for me. I also have sensitive skin on my feet, so I blister very easily. Any shoes will do that without a proper tight fit which I can't handle. So it turned out I paired these Brooks later on with Silverlight socks for hiking. Those themselves are pretty expensive at $35 a pair (Very well worth it though), but that's what I got in case anyone wants the real true recommended setup for that kind of intense work, or just anyone that wants the complete in total kind of astronaut experience, and I'm sure there are other type of socks, but man, the pairing of these shoes with those socks. Hilton bed all day, marshmallow super man. I'll say the first time I tried the Brooks Ghost Max 1st edition was a few years ago and back then not sure what is different now but before, it felt like the shoe then were giving way too much roll, started hurting my toes. These new ones (Max 3) do not have that issue, and I tried the Max 2, those also did not have that issue. They stabilize your feet just enough. I tried the Glycerine Max's the other day at Dick's Sporting Goods, I will say those are insane with how much pillow they added there it's literally like the pool noodle foam material, except the roll it gives at the end makes you feel like you're not supported at the middle or rear, feels like you're forced to step forward some with those. The Max 3's support you way better than those in the roll in my opinion. So again, another reason why these are the best option. If you get these I recommend getting shoe shaper/tree inserts to keep their shape. My Ghost 15's started curling up after about 2 years of wear, these may not because they're so thick. Side note I also got the Ghost 17's alongside these which are lower height, something bad happened since Ghost 15 I'm not sure what it is. Excellent pair and more cushioning and higher but, something's off. The look and support isn't all the way there. So I'm with Ghost Max all the way. My friend got a pair of White Max 2's, they got dirty very easily fast so I would think twice about White color. - Marshmallow Superman ... show more

  • Great shoes
Size: 10.5 Color: Black/Black/Ebony
Very comfortable shoes! Sizing is accurate. I stand, walk, climb, and squat a lot most workdays, and these shoes accommodate my needs. They also seem to help me avoid foot and lower back pain that I have grown accustomed to. They look classy and professional. They are also very lightweight, but not at all in a cheap way. They are constructed very well and the fabric allows for sufficient air flow. I highly recommend these shoes. ... show more

  • Amazing
Size: 11 Color: Blue/Starfish/Moonlight
I have these in blue but in the normal size 11 for a day-to-day shoe but I bought the solid black ones in the 11 wide and that worked amazing for my job it gave a lot of space and comfort for when my feet start to swell up a bit from a long shift and it leaves a lot of comfort in my feet. I like the solid black because it’s hard to find a shoe that comes in all black which gives it a nice solid appearance. I really enjoy this brand because the durability of these shoes is amazing and the thickness of the sole is great because I’m on my feet for over eight hours a day. Overall the shoe is a solid buy you can’t go wrong especially if your job is demanding and you’re on your feet all day and you have to move around a lot. ... show more

  • Great support in an extremely comfortable shoe.
Size: 10 X-Wide Color: Black/Black/Ebony
Very comfortable shoe. Lots of support, and lots of cushion for walking on hard surfaces, but not so much cushion that it would adversely affect my balance. The 4E width meets my needs. I bought the shoe as a walking shoe and it is perfect for that application. The shoe looks great with black soles and black top, and the logo in black is also discrete. The shoe is not water proof, but it is not advertised as being waterproof. I am very pleased with the Becks Men;s Ghost 3. ... show more

  • Perfect for feet pain and joints
Size: 10.5 Color: Coconut/Chateau/Navy
At first, I didn’t like it. It was really stiff at first. But once I broke into my shoes and they were super comfy. I’m a bigger guy 250+ lbs but walking in these definitely helped with joint pain and walking long distances. I was skeptical but so far am glad I got them. I’ve had them for a week so far. No issues now. No pain as much as before. ... show more

  • The Perfect Shoe?
Size: 12.5 Color: Primer Grey/Ebony
I wear a size 12 shoe in just about everything. First pair of Ghost Max 3 shoes in size 12 I received were just a little too small in the toes. Returned for refund and re-ordered the 12.5 and they fit very well. I used to wear the Brooks Beast back when I ran a lot and always had good luck with them. Now I suffer from neuropathy and had read the Ghost Max 3 are one of the top shoes for those with neuropathy. Wide toe box makes for a very comfortable fit and my feet don't feel like they are in a vice after just an hour. Love that now I can wear something other than Hey Dudes. Because they're designed as a running shoe, the shoes are fairly lightweight and have a wide base and cushioned sole, providing good stability for walking and just knocking around in. Will definitely be buying them again. ... show more

  • Just as good if not better than the original
I put about 400 miles into the original Brooks Ghost Max leading up to a marathon in October of last year. I had been struggling to find a good replacement as I had tried the Ghost Max 2 and something just felt off with them. After my last race I ended up getting some Topo Phantom 4, which initially felt ok but ended up contributing to an ankle injury. I was relieved to get the Ghost Max 3 and immediately feel very familiar with them. I've been running in them for a few weeks now and haven't felt my ankle flare up once. These are extremely cushioned shoes and really easy to run in. I'm by no means a pro runner so they're very versatile to me since I wear them on short, long, interval and race day runs. The quality seems just as good as the original ones that I basically ran into the ground. I ran through some puddles and mud on the second day I had them (unfortunately lol) as it had rained the night before and was happy with how the material held up. They're not anymore water resistant than a regular shoe but the airy material on the top especially helps my feet breathe better without making them too warm. After I got home I just scrubbed the sides and top with some baby wipes and they looked good as new. I went up half a size to give my toes extra room especially for long runs, that's worked well in the past and also so far with these shoes. ... show more

  • Okay, wow!
Size: 10 Color: Black/Black/Ebony
These are amazing shoes! I've been using HOKA BONDI for a few years now, and I'm used to extremely comfortable and durable shoes. Ghost Max 3 definitely give HOKA BONDI a run for its money! They're comfortable, very cushioned, and significantly cheaper than HOKA. I've only had them for a few months but I feel like they're stronger than HOKA. In my case, I ordered half a size up and it fit me perfectly! Highly recommend these shoes! ... show more
