This is my third pair of Brooks Running shoes. They fit perfectly and wear well. Exactly what I ordered. My only caution would be to be careful of the Amazon size recommendation. They recommended a 1/2 size bigger than what I order--I would have had to send them back had I followed that recommendation.

I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before leaving a review so I had ample time to wear these. I paid more on these than I have ever spent on shoes but I realized the last 3 pairs I bought that I couldn’t wear equalled about the same. Since I’ve gotten older my feet HURT. I don’t like my toes touching anything and the bottoms of my feet always feel bruised and painful. I’m on my feet at work all day and I’m moving around. My feet were so painful I couldn’t even walk in the morning when I got up. After researching I decided upon these shoes. I bought them in an extra wide. First day, I was able to wear them out of the box for a full shift. My feet still hurt and I had to keep sitting every hour or so. But by day 3, I had noticed a huge improvement in pain. Fast forward a couple weeks my pain is gone and I bounce my way through the day. They are supportive and super comfortable. They seem to eliminate most of the shockwaves from my feet hitting the pavement. You almost feel a “bounce” when walking. I donated all of my Skechers and Nikes I couldn’t wear and from now on I will just stick with these. Yes they are a bit on the pricey side, but I feel like they’re worth every penny.

I initially ordered a size 12 which has been my go-to size for years. However, sizes can vary between brands, and the size 12 in the Ghost Max 2 was a bit snug. I returned them and got a 12.5, and now they fit perfectly. Out of all the walking shoes I’ve tried, these are by far the best. I wear them daily when I leave the house. I also ordered the Brooks Men’s Adrenaline GTS 24 in size 12.5 for indoor treadmill walking year-round. I am in my 60s and don’t run. Both pairs of Brooks shoes are incredibly comfortable and I have not experienced any knee issues compared to other brands. These Brooks shoes are on the pricier side, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, definitely holds true here.

Fellas, I’m around 300 pounds and walk all day for work at a local PD and as a disabled vet my back is bad which in turn also hurts my feet. After getting these shoes I haven’t had any foot pain at all. Very comfortable, stylish and have been fairly durable so far. The price tag hurts but worth it for comfort. 4.5 stars only because they are expensive.

It fits great, the color is beautiful (blue). I feel like I am walking on the clouds each time I wear them. It gives great support. I have owned other Brooks, but the ghost 2 max is the best of them all. I definitely will recommend them.

My podiatrist recommended this model for my unusual feet. I have walked about 15 miles (5 x 3)in these and, at least in comfort and reduction of soreness, they are a marked improvement over my other shoes. Obviously, with just 15 miles walked I cannot speak about the shoes' quality or durability but I have no reason to suspect any deficiency. Years ago Brooks running shoes were recommended for me because I tended to run on the outer portion of my foot. (The person who made the recommendation determined that by looking at the wear pattern on the sole and told me I was an overpronator.)

I had worn out my Brooks GHOST 13s. There are a lot of negative reviews of the newer GHOST models. I could not find any new GHOST 13s. I don't run anymore so I switched to the GHOST MAX 2 walking model. It has at least 1/4 inch thicker cushioning, especially at the heel. Brooks run small, so I added my usual 1/2 size and moderate extra width. Don't forget to add a hard, half-shoe arch support. Except for orthopedic shoes, all shoes are made w/o arch supports, so they will fit people with either flat feet or high arches. More sales, more plantar fasciitis.
