Bought these for my husband because I'm sick of listening to him complain about all his other athletic shoes killing his feet every time we go camping or on vacation. He probably has plantar fasciitis, but that's just my guess. ANYWAY, I bought these a week before we went on our 5th trip to Vegas because it always involves a ton of walking and he LOVES them! The grey/yellow color combo is nice and athletic looking but not too flashy to wear with his standard grey shorts and plain tshirt and he must have made at least 10 comments throughout the weekend about how comfortable they were. He usually wears a 13, so that's what I bought. He has worn them numerous times since then as well, and seems to still love them.

I bought this pair after I returned the same model in blue and they fit perfectly. The first pair I bought had a right shoe that was more narrow than the other shoe and was not comfortable. I am assuming it was a manufacture defect as I have been buying Brooks running shoes now for a few years and have not experienced this defect before. I do not run but walk allot and Brooks are always great at supporting my back and reducing pain. I have walked 10 miles at Disneyland in a previous model (Ghost 14) and would have not been able to do this wearing other brands (Nike, New Balance). There is a reason why pediatrist recommend Brooks, they are built right! If you have never owned a pair because of the price, trust me you will thank yourself for spending the extra money! Cheers

I've been using Ghosts for running for many years. Every once in a while I try something different, but always come back. I have high arches and tend to over pronate and recently became aware that my big toe's flexibility makes it prone to bunions as my last different pair of shoes started to push one of big toes inward. So it is back to the Ghosts.

Definitely not my cup of tea. If you’re planning to wear these for walking, think twice. These are running shoes, so they have a special base curvature that slightly declines at the toe area, creating a “gap” that makes it feel like your toes aren’t as supported as the rest of the sole—like they’re hanging in the air. This design works well for running because you mostly land on your toes, so the shape makes sense in that context. But if you have to walk a lot, they’re not ideal. I spent two weeks in these on my trip to Japan, walking a ton every day, and by the end of each day my toes were sore. For heavy walking, you’ll want a different pair of shoes.

I have been running with Brooks for years. I have had several in the Brooks product line and have settled on the Ghost as the best suited for my running style. Thr Ghost 16 is excellent in every way. It is well constructed, comfortable, and provides just the right amount of cushioning. I like the light weight and neutral stability as the two best features of this shoe. I have just over 200 miles on the Ghost 16 so far and have no doubt I will stay with the Broks Ghost series when it is time to replace them. Highly recommended.

Good price and fast shipping. I had the Ghost 14 and 15, then I tried Adrenaline and they weren’t bad, but for my particular foot shape and stride I think the Ghost line is more comfortable. So far it’s been awesome for running and walking, and it’s stylish too for a hang out. Normally I stay away from white, but I like the color mix on this one. The fit is as expected based on the ones I’ve had before. The DNA Loft technology really gives me a good and stable feel, with lots of support in the mid- to forefoot.

I’ve been running in Brooks for years now, and the Ghost 16 continues to prove why it’s my top choice. I picked these up on sale, and they immediately became part of my daily rotation. I run every day, outdoor and treadmill, and I keep one pair just for the treadmill to extend their life. Even with that much use, they hold up extremely well. The cushioning feels balanced, not overly soft, but just enough to absorb impact and keep things smooth on long runs (i weigh about 190). The toe box has enough room without feeling sloppy, and the heel lockdown is solid. They’re lightweight but still supportive, which I appreciate after trying a few shoes from other brands that felt either too heavy or too flimsy. Design-wise, the color options on the Ghost 16 look nice. They’ve moved toward a more modern athletic look, not overly flashy but still sharp enough that I wear them casually too. The upper is breathable and doesn’t feel bulky or overly padded, even after long use. Honestly, for a neutral runner, it’s hard to find a better blend of comfort, durability, and performance at this price, especially when they’re on sale. I’ve worn other brands, but I keep coming back to Brooks.
