  • Good shoe for any distance
Size: 11 Color: White Sand/Chateau Gray/Yellow
So far so good. 20 miles in and feeling them break in. Good support. Lockdown is average. Grip is great. I don’t like super-shoes. These are soft and springy with a midsole foot strike pattern. Ok for heel strikers

  • Comfortable Everyday Shoe for an aging Runner/Walker.
Size: 10 Color: Ebony/Blue Sapphire/Orange
I have been buying Brooks for years. Mostly Adrenalines and other Running Shoes. I am getting older and with a surgery on my left ankle as well as my stability waning, I tried a Trail Shoe. So far the wider sole has bee fantastic. I'm only using them for a shoe at work and they're SOOO comfortable!

  • Great cushion and traction I use them for both work and weekends
Size: 12.5 Color: Ebony/Blue Sapphire/Orange
I purchased these for work as I am constantly on concrete. So far, they are holding up fantastic and the cushioning is great. I wear them every day. I like the tread and traction of the shoes. I have used them on trail runs on the weekends and they work great. Very good quality, no rips or seams pulling apart and no problems with the stitching coming apart. A bit pricey, however they are worth the money. I purchased my daughter the exact same women's pair of this shoe and she loves them as well. ... show more

  • Comfortable, Cushioned and Stylish
Size: 10 Color: Ebony/Blue Sapphire/Orange
I'm on a never ending search for cushioned running shoes. I had been wearing NB trail running shoes until recently when they have become un available. I find these Brooks shoes to be very good. They are not quite as cushioned as the NB (more than adequate), but they have a "lower" foot bed or sole which I'm finding I like, less chance of turning my ankle. They run a little small I ordered a half size larger. I use them for walking and working around the yard. Happy with the switch to Brooks. ... show more

  • Highly recommendable
Size: 9.5 Color: Lemon Chrome/Black/Springbud
From the first few minutes of wearing them I know these were going to be great shoes to own. Right out of the box, I was impressed with their light weight, and they immediately felt like they belonged on my feet. As Brooks claims, they do a lot to absorb shock and are super comfortable.

  • Great for long-distance hikes
Size: 10.5 Color: Ebony/Blue Sapphire/Orange
Recently wore these on a 100km hike through various South African terrain and they performed amazing. While others in my group who opted for dedicated hiking boots suffered from blistered daily my feet stayed in great shape over our four days. Excellent comfort and grip throughout various terrain - rocks, gravel, dirt, mud. While they aren’t 100% waterproof like other boots, we did have a drizzly day and they stayed relatively dry only with water coming in from the top and they dried quickly. Highly recommend if they fit you correctly. ... show more

  • Not for me, runs small, strange fit/cushion
Size: 11 Color: Ebony/Blue Sapphire/Orange
I liked the idea of a wide based trail shoe but as others have said, they fit strangely. Also, I normally wear a size 11 in brooks and these were cramming my great toe. The cushioning is odd and almost lumpy under your foot. I do have rather flat feet with one fallen arch and the other flexible flat so finding comfortable shoes is tricky. The wide base did feel somewhat supportive and the shoe was plenty wide, close to a 2E I'd say. Again, didn't work for my disfigured feet but clearly does for others. ... show more

  • Great shoes and excellent value.
Size: 9.5 Color: White Sand/Chateau Gray/Yellow
This is my second pair of the Brooks Trail shoes series. At 64 I do a 5K walk 6 days per week. You don’t have to run if you want to preserve your knees and ankles for later. 😀 I have found that Brooks hold their support as well as other brands at a higher cost. The key is to only use them for exercise purposes and not for fashion. Very happy with the toe box width and laces that never come untied. Happy consumer. ... show more
