  • Changed my mind
I’ve now had these sneakers for almost1 1/2 years and they’re changed my mind. I initially gave them a 3 star as I had pain in my left foot which went away eventually once I stopped wearing these sneakers. I ran in them again after giving it a break for maybe a couple of weeks, and also loosening the laces more. This time they felt great and didn’t hurt and have been my go to running shoes ever since. I still run in them now but they are so beat up, I bought another pair. Below was my previous review. I’ve had these for 4 months now. I loved them! Loved the color, felt a little narrow but I did go up 1/2 size after reading the reviews. I run about 30 miles a week and wore these sneakers about 75% of the time. Well, I started experiencing sharp pain on top of my left foot, about 1/2” down from my big toe. I’d wiggle my toes, push my foot up but gradually it hurt so much to a point where I couldn’t even walk in them. I have a bump on the bone where part of my shoe was rubbing against and it hurts when I wear my Brooks sneakers even with the laces loosened. I love the look of them, they were super comfy to run in but that only lasted not quite 4 months. I’d say these are for folks with really narrow feet as mine are not even that wide and they hurt. Plus it’s just on one foot that I’m experiencing the pain so perhaps these were defective. ... show more

  • Very comfy, very light!
Size: 8.5 Color: Black/Ebony/Purple
Just had my first eight-hour retail shift in a new pair of these; on the whole they were very comfy! I suspect my few qualms with the shoes will be resolved by breaking the shoes in more, but they were maybe just a bit tighter than I wanted in the sides of my feet and tips of my toes around hours seven and eight of running around. The color is cute. The shoelaces... are lighter and rougher to the touch than expected. Not sure why that sticks out so much in my mind, but it does. The laces are thinner and rougher than I am used to shoelaces being. (It's fine! I'm not even sure what my shoelace expectations were in the first place, aside from 'unquantifiable' and probably 'ridiculous'.) The colors are lovely in person and pretty much exactly as pictured, which was nice. Most importantly, these shoes did not make me feet feel enormous, nor heavy, nor hot when I was starting to get sore and tired, and right now, while my feet are a bit sore, absolutely none of that was the shoes' fault! All in all, I give these 4.5/5 stars, rounded up to 5 since we're not allowed to do half stars. :D ... show more

  • True to Size
Size: 9.5 Color: Black/Bellflower/Fiesta
Ok, I read so many reviews saying the Launch GTS was narrower and you should go up a half size. I’m usually a 9 in all the Brooks I’ve worn, which is usually Launch or Adrenaline; however, I found the 9.5 was too big and it’s effecting my walking. I couldn’t send them back since I used them on the road. I’ve been wearing thicker socks and that has helped. Also, the shoe is extremely light and probably great for runners as is suggested for speed. I haven’t gotten back into running or jogging just yet, but they feel very supportive when walking on rockier/gravel-like trails. However, the half size is messing with my arch support I think, and making me feel like I have to work harder, causing some fatigue in the ankle, which has never happened for me when wearing Brooks. Overall, they look nice, shoestrings are too thin for me, I like the rounder ones best. I do think this is a good shoe for the price and support. ... show more

  • Comfortable and Lightweight
I have very picky feet and a bum leg, so it's hard to find shoes that don't cause me more pain. These are so comfortable that I can barely tell that I am wearing shoes. The laces are also the only laces I've ever used that don't require double-knotting to keep them tied. I use these for running on well-maintained, mildly hilly trails in the PNW, as well as some rural roads. They are great for drier days, or days where I stick to the flatter trails, but the tread is not aggressive enough for descents where it's muddy. For reference, I have narrow feet (about 3.25") and wear size 8 in most other shoes, and my left foot overpronates. I prefer lots of space in the toebox, and these didn't feel cramped at all, despite looking pretty narrow. I had been using Nike air zooms for a while, which I liked, but the newer versions never fit quite right and felt cheap. The Brooks are more comfortable and sleek by comparison. Pictures are after eight 2-3 mile runs. ... show more

  • Comfy and Cute!
Size: 8.5 Color: Black/Ebony/Purple
I’m usually an Under Armour girlie for athletics but these are wayyy better and cuter! These are my new gym shoes and cardio like the treadmill and stairs machine are so much easier on my joints and I get less shin tug because I’m getting proper support (I was using Nikes and never again). For the price, this is much better quality! I range between 8 and 8.5 and I listened to the suggestions and got an 8.5 and it fits perfectly. ... show more

  • Narrow
I’m a heavy girl and have been trying different brands and styles because my feet bother me so much and I work in healthcare, so I run non stop every day. My first pair were Glycerins which are really comfortable. These were on sale so I gave them a try. I ordered my normal size and I love the color. They are definitely more narrow than my Glycerins and not as cushioned but I’m still happy with them and wear them on and off to work but consider them more of an every day shoe. ... show more

  • A nice surprise
Size: 9.5 Color: Black/Ebony/Purple
I was skeptical about these, because I usually require a lot of cushion, but stability is a must as well. I own a pair of glycerin 20 GTS in the same size. I really really like these Launch 9 GTS. They don’t have as much cushion as the glycerins, but they fit well, support my feet, and feel light. I feel the support in the Launch 9 GTS is better. These shoes seem more narrow, but not so that I have to size up. I have good arch support and I feel like I am propelled to my next step. I have only worn these for short speed walking distances 1-2 miles. I’m curious to see how they feel after longer distances. Worst case scenario, they are my short distance go to or dreadmill shoes. ... show more
