Let me start off by saying that above everything, these shoes are super comfortable and supportive. I generally wear a size 9 in all shoes, dress and athletic alike. Saying that, I ordered my regular size 9 and was instantly aware of two things: that this shoe is super comfortable BUT that my toe was touching the end of the shoe. Wrapped them back up, did a bit of research and dithered whether to go up half a size or a full, and decided on a full size up. PERFECT...they fit as a shoe ought. Interesting to note, I have been wearing Hokas for the past two years and my knees have gotten progressively sore and tender. I researched if the Hokas could be at fault, and for some, yes this has been the case. I won't stop walking, so I did additional research and came up with Brooks as being a favorite for supporting knees and ankles. They are working for me, knees are improving. I do love these Brooks!! RECOMMEND!

I walk the minimum of 10k steps a day and track them. I replace my sneakers every 500 miles which is easy to track using my smart watch. I get good support and comfort from these. I got my feet measure, sized at Marathon Sports (a running store) and have been buying this brand since. Find the best shoe for you as it will prevent injury. If your back, legs, glutes have any pain take a look at your shoes and get them replaced. It may seem expensive but it is affordable for good health.

Brooks Ghost are my absolute favorite athletic shoes. I've been purchasing them for years and they continue to be great. They're so incredibly comfortable that I can walk around all day at a theme park and go home with happy feet that don't hurt. They don't require any time to break them in and don't rub or cause any blisters or sore spots. I usually wear these when doing weight training exercises or using the elliptical machine, as well as when I'm planning to walk around a lot. I love all the color options that Amazon sells, the shipping is quick, and the price is right. I highly recommend these shoes!

I have been a runner since I was in my early teens (more than a few decades ago!) and have always had to be selective about my running shoes- I chose these sneakers after reading a review in a running publication about the top recommended running shoes for runners with high arches. I have very high arches, underpronate/supinate and am susceptible to shin splints if I wear the wrong shoes. I have been running 3-5 miles/day 5-6 days/week since getting these Brooks and have not had any toe, foot, ankle or shin pain. If you are looking for a light, well cushioned sneaker that happens to also be super cute (I have the black with peach detail) give these a try! Disclaimer: I don’t know enough about biokinetics to weigh in on how well they’d suit someone with a neutral stride overpronating stride.

This is my second pair of brooks ghost 14s. I put a lot of mileage on my running shoes and these are great for short to mid distance runs (5k-10k). I size up a full size to allow room for cushioned running socks and natural foot swelling. These have a wider toe box than standard which also helps on longer distance runs. (I’m a Brooks convert from Nike). Note: these are slippery on wet pavement. While I love them for dry runs, they lose grip and become slippery during rainy runs.

I love these shoes! They are well made and last a long time. I bought a second pair to have a back up, but my first pair still look and feel new after almost a year. I work at a Pilates studio and am on my feet all day, so it’s important to me that I wear good shoes. These are so comfortable. My feet never hurt or feel tired even after standing/walking all day.

The cushioning in the Ghost 14 is indeed outstanding. The shoes provide excellent impact absorption, which helps with my back pain. However, I have normal arches in my feet, and I expected a neutral running shoe like the Ghost 14 to fit comfortably. Unfortunately, the arch support area in these shoes is noticeably narrow and the arch support is too high for my neutral feet. The shoes caused both the arch of my feet and the outsides of my feet to hurt. The shoes were not comfortable from the beginning and it took about a month to break them in. Although I wear these to exercise, they are not my go-to shoes.

Brooks makes comfortable shoes but the shoelaces on this latest pair are a joke. Good thing I don't need to lace the last hole because it would be impossible to tie them. I like to double-knot and just slip my shoes on and off - there isn't even enough lace to double-knot without having the laces so tight that my toes fall asleep while I run. As much as they charge for this brand, it's pretty irritating that I'm going to either have to buy longer laces or steal some that don't match from another pair of shoes...Otherwise the shoes themselves are fine but...come on Brooks!
