  • Good shoe, sole seems a little stiff
Purchased these and a pair of On at the same time. The Ons were comfy out of the box. The brooks took some breaking in. Even a few weeks in, the sole still seems stiff. When doing lunges, my heel is wanting to pull out of the shoe due to the stiffness.

  • Greta for walking!
Size: 10.5 Color: Black/Ebony/Pink
This show gives awesome support especially in the hips. Especially if you walk on pavement. I couldn't suggest running in then because I didn't feel like it has good support on the heel counter or pull tab. It felt way too low for me so it felt like the shoe could come off easily. Could be just me. But love it for walking! I alternate between this shoe and Asics so my shoes don't wear out as quick as when I used to just do one pair at a time until it died. 😂 ... show more

  • I love Brooks running shoes. These don't fit the same.
First of all, I bought these shoes in spite of what they look like. I felt like people at the trail race were staring at me when I got there because, in person, they look like bright white Michael-Jackson-in-Billie-Jean saddle shoes. White shoes in a muddy 10K trail race through creek crossings, but I digress. I love Brooks running shoes. I've had 3 pairs. I was going to give these 3 stars but the grip was excellent as it was really muddy and slick, and they were comfortable EXCEPT I started having a really uncomfortable rubbing feeling between my big toe and second toe before I even got to mile 2. I took off my shoes and...blister. I've never gotten a blister there before. I'm not sure if the toe box was too narrow or what. I wore them a couple of times walking pretty far before the race and they didn't bother me so I thought they'd be okay. It was pretty uncomfortable but fortunately the creek crossings seemed to calm it down or cool it or lubricate it or something; and it wasn't a terrible blister. It resolved within a couple of days, but I'll definitely be wearing a bandaid when I use them again since I would never return something after taking it out on a race. But that was only 6 miles. I felt like most trail runners go longer than that so I hope this doesn't happen to someone else in a more challenging circumstance. I feel like a shoe not giving you blisters is pretty important. ... show more

  • Good shoes
Preface: I've worn Brooks Caldera and Cascadia exclusively since the inception of both. They're on their 16th version of the Cascadia, so I've been through a lot of Brooks shoes. Overall I am impressed. The price tag reflects the quality of the shoes. If you want more cushion, you'll need to fork over another $40 for the Caldera. These shoes offer more response than I was expecting for the Cushion line, & the fit, for me, is the same as every other Brooks shoe; I size up to an 8 when I wear a 7 in casual street shoes. The lone con: WHAT ARE THESE LACES?!? I can only guess they were a fluke. I'm not going to even hold it against them. I'm just gonna put it out into the universe that Brooks will get rid of them, burythem deep into the basement of forgotten materials, and no one will ever think of them again. I'm just going to replace mine and throw these into the hottest fire. For a hundred bucks, it's a great shoe. I'll buy another pair bc I'm not excited about the new Calderas or Cascadias. ... show more

  • Toes Uncomfortable
I am a big fan of Brooks shoes! However, this one is uncomfortable on the toes, especially if you are running downhill. Hope they can fix that problem in the newer models of Divide, if it is continued. Otherwise, the shoes fit as expected and not too bad on flat surface or uphill.

  • Comfortable
Size: 8 Color: Black/Ebony/Pink
I needed a new pair of shoes for walking and working out. I have been wearing brooks so I just looked for one on sale size 8 that I thought would work. I’ve only worn them about 4 times but so far so good

  • Good supportive shoe.
Brooks is a great quality shoe. I recommend them to my patients looking for a good, supportive walking shoe. The heel holds its shape, shoe bends at the toe box and has a firm arch in the sole. If you are flat footed as I am you will need an additional arch support insert.
