I like the celestial star pattern on this dark blue/navy silk pillow case. The cool smooth silk feel is a significant upgrade from scratchy cotton or polyester. After a month of use the color, pattern, and texture are still good. The enclosure style fits standard pillows and is actually superior to a zipper. Hand wash only. I notice a few wrinkles on the case occasionally.

Unfortunately, this is not as soft as we would have hoped. It sure does not feel like a million angels kissing my eye lids. Did your team change suppliers? We have ordered multiple Brooklinen pillow cases directly from the website and these feel nothing like them.

I'm not much of a silk or satin person, typically I love a good jersey knit so I was reluctant to get something like this. I've been using this pillow case for almost a year and originally got it to help with not having bedhead, which I suppose it does but my hair always manages to be a bit crazy in the morning. But what I really noticed is that I used to wake up with face imprints and I no longer get those with this pillow case. I have washed it but always air-dry it. It's not overly slippery which I like. I would recommend.

So I spent A LOT of time researching silk pillowcases and I came to the conclusion the Brooklinen is a credible company selling real silk. I really love the celestial design it makes me feel like I'm a kid again! But for $60.00 per pillowcases I thought it would be much silkier and I hoped the silk would be thicker - it feels quite thin which is disappointing. When I hold this case up to the light I can see through the fabric. It feels thin as well. The fabric feels pretty soft but has a slight bit of roughness to it. My sateen weave organic bamboo pillowcases are noticeably softer than these and cost 1/4 of the price. I'm going to use them for a little longer but I have a feeling I will be returning these as I'm not feeling sold and that's A LOT of money to spend. Also the packaging is super cute but very unnecessary and wasteful. I feel like 30% of the price was for thr packaging. Also no care instructions on thr box. That's weird right? It's silk and yothey package them in this big fancy box with a magnetic closure (so wasteful!!!), and then exclude any fabric care/washing instructions??? Super lame in my personal opinion. It's also made in China and I question the practices of whatever Factory this was made in. It had a very chemical smell out of the box. Not very appealing for fabric that I'm gonna put on my face. I might just go back to organic cotton sateen Weave or organic bamboo and find a company that uses sustainable practices.

These Brooklinen pillow cases look nice, but they are not "silky smooth" the way I was expecting, despite being pure silk. Also, too small to fit what I thought were my standard pillows. Disappointed in the size and the feel. They did was okay and I love the print.
