It took me a few days to decide if I wanted to buy this perfume because i was reading so many different opinions on it and didn’t know what to believe but I decided to get it mostly because people were saying it smells sweet and fragrance is such a personal preference that I just had to buy it for myself. When I first sprayed this perfume I was getting fruity and fresh floral smells. Like i smelled a lot of the kiwi and jasmine/orchid notes and I was a little disappointed because i was expecting to smell cupcake but then i let it dry down for a bit and It began to smell sweet. At first the scent is a bit powerful, within a few seconds you start to smell the sweetness of the perfume and then comes the dry down which is AMAZING! It smells so good! This is a wonderfully packaged fragrance. How can you say no to this fun bottle? As for the scent, it's warm, sweet, and long lasting. I can still smell it on my wrists the next day, after many hand washings. I love it!

I'm surprised by how different this is from the Intimate Edition. I thought it was going to be just like that one but maybe a little lighter. Nope. This one and "Intimate" are both supposed to be a gourmand, Intimate seems to fit that better. This one is more floral and not as "sugary" underneath. I prefer the Intimate Edition because it's much sweeter with a lot of caramel, powder, and amber. It also lasts longer by at least 3 hours. This is supposed to be mainly "sweet, fruity, tropical, fresh, chocolate". Its notes are: TOP (the first notes you smell when applying & they fade first) : Kiwi, Red Litchi, Quince MIDDLE (called "heart" notes come next): White Chocolate, Cupcake, Orchid, Jasmine BOTTOM (called "base" and come with the dry down & linger the longest): Musk, Orris Root (powdery, earthy, and rooty scent), Woodsy Notes. I don't get the progression of notes. Instead, I immediately get the cupcake and orchid. After about 5 minutes, I get a nice soft musk-powdery scent that lasts for around an hour. After that, I just have a faint skin scent that lasts around another couple of hours before I have to reapply. One minor thing is how much smaller and cheaper looking this bottle is than the one for Intimate. That one is much bigger and much more opaque. I can see the liquid through the glass in this red bottle and the lid is also see-through. This one is nice and if it lasted longer, I would give it 5 stars - even though I prefer the notes of the Intimate Edition ... show more
