I got bonbons from Ireland this summer and they were so good. I’m trying to find some that I can buy here in the us and these are definitely not it. The ones I had were lightly powered and super chewy. These are like biting into chalk I can feel the top layer just disintegrate as I bite it then you get a small bit of something Chewy. Honestly did not taste lemon just powder. Would not recommend If anyone has some recommendations for bonbons in the US that resemble Aunty Nellie’s (they don’t ship to the US) let me know!! ... show more

I was expecting harder ones like the original British ones. These were too soft for my liking. If I don't order directly from England and the craving hits really bad I may just re-order.

Lemon bonbons are my fave and I have been buying them for years, These are not good. These have like a 1/4" thick powdery shell on them, that falls off as soon as you put it in your mouth and then there is a rock hard chunk of toffee in the center that feels like it could rip a tooth out. These are not the yummy chewy lemony bonbons I am used to buying the the UK. ... show more
