I would call these pants trousers for women. They are of well made but stiff, rather heavy fabric. There is plenty of room for wide hips. If you have a stomach there will be extra fabric at the hips. They crease very badly and run long

Great fit, comfortable and flattering

These pants have been my go-to for years. I have to say I think they run slightly large, as my measurements are an inch or two over the size listing and the pants are comfortably loose. I just bought a 16 and love the way they fit, but I definitely could have opted for the 14 if I wanted a more form-fitting look. I’m 5’3” and prefer to shorten the length about 1 inch, but I have worn them with the 29” short inseam as is, and they look okay that way too (just pool a little at the ankle). The back pockets come sewn shut and you need to gently tear the stitching in order to use them. I don’t bother anymore though because they’re quite shallow and not really useful. The front pockets are not standard side pockets but are located more in the front under the waistband. The pockets aren’t optimal if you tuck in your shirt as the items in them could look bulky. Personally I never tuck my shirt and find these welt pockets perfect to hold my phone and small items. This pocket style works really well for me but may not be for everyone. They machine wash and dry just fine, but I don’t use powdered detergent or oxiclean in the wash as they often collect some of it on their surface, requiring them to be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove it. I’ve seen other reviews complaining of white residue after washing. I’ve found that this can be avoided by using only liquid detergent. There is also a plus-size version of these pants that I’ve worn in the past. I love these pants and highly recommend them.

Back pockets are not functional
Size: 18

These pants are well made, and while stretchy, do not fit like leggings, so they are appropriate for work. I have not yet washed them, so I don't know about shrinkage or wrinklage yet. My complaint is that while they advertise 4 pockets, the back pockets are not functional unless you just need a place to carry your library card. I definitely cannot carry my cell phone in the back pocket. While the front pockets are adequate, even generous for women's pants, they are not deep enough to carry a phone in front like men do. If they had not advertised 4 pockets, I would have given them a 5 star review. Then again, I wouldn't have bought them without back pockets.

Good quality pants. Definitely size down one size! I wear between a 10 and 8 and got an 8s and they fit perfect. I'm 5'4 and the short falls right at the ankle bone like the photos. Comfortable to move or sit in all day. Will buy more colors.

Comfy and Good for Work

Love these, very comfortable I got the 18 inch length which are too long probably by 2 inches or so. My height is five 5 1/2 but it’s not really a big deal. I just tucked up under and it stayed so it’s perfectly fine very comfortable material is stretchy. soft feel good fit.
