Description

The Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 tire is engineered for winter driving performance to help keep your vehicle in control through the harshest conditions. This winter tire is designed to provide confident control and secure handling on snow and ice for your car or minivan. The Blizzak WS90 is shown to be a leader in control on ice; and deliver long-lasting performance for an extra winter season. Assuming tires are only used in the winter season which is defined as approximately from mid-October to mid-April (6 months for very cold regions) and that an average user would go about 1,200 miles per month, the Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 would last an extra winter season vs. the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tire. Based on internal testing on a closed course using a Toyota Camry and the Michelin X-Ice Xi3 tire in size 215/55R17, the Toyo GSi5 tire in size 215/55R17, the Continental WinterContact SI tire in size 215/55R17, Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 tire in size 215/55/R17, and the Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 tire in size 215/55/R17. Actual results on road may vary.

  • Can’t believe I can order tires through Amazon!
I haven’t tried these yet, as it’s summer still in Alaska. I wanted to beat the winter rush to buy tires and get them before the cold temps set in. I’m just impressed that I could order a good pair of tires for a decent price and have them delivered to my door!!

  • Very good in the snow.
They are hard to beat for the price to performance but they wear real fast.

  • Good
We bought them for my car Mercedes C280. They are perfect for this car.

  • Great grip!
I haven't had these long, but I've used WS80's in the past which are also fantastic. These are supposed to give you an extra season of tread. Anyways, I made it through a WV (hilly twists and turns) heavy snowstorm this week when other people were pulling over to wait out the storm. Hope I didn't just jinx myself for next time. But no, no trouble at all. Great tires. BTW - I'd written Bridgestone and asked them directly why these were cheaper than the old WS80's. It's just because it's a new line that people aren't familiar with yet. ... show more
