The bow detail on the shoulder is so perfect but unfortunate that it is ill-fitting along the zipper/bust area. My wife is 5'2 and wears a xl-xxl because she's busty and has a short torso. Based on the measurements she needed a xxl. When it arrived it was too big in the chest area, making the dress drape weird not a problem that can be taken in. However she did not like that the bodice cut off mid stomach. The length was also too long. It fit about 5 inches below the knee. The color of dress that arrived was slightly lighter than the one pictured. This may work if you have a long torso or longer legs. The sizing is right on point. The fabric looked like it would be thin but doesn't feel or look thin while wearing. It is beautifully opaque. The material used also feels well made and of good quality. The length and the cut of the dress really help to accentuate curves. I love it.

This is a very nice dress. The fabric is decent, has some stretch and not too thin, and the dress is overall very well made. I like the one shoulder style and the bow detail on the shoulder. Ilove a-line silhouettes, skater styles, and dresses that cinch at the waist with a fuller skirt as I have more narrow hips. The waist tie is great because it isn't attached to the dress so I can tie it tighter for a more snug fit. I ordered an XL due to my ample bust of 41.5 inches (bra size 34H US) and overall the dress is a great fit. The only problem I have is with the length. This midi length dress cuts off at about 5 to 6 inches below my knee. This had the effect of making me look short and stumpy. I didn't anticipate that the dress would look so long on me. I tried the dress firstwith a straight slip and it looks okay. Then I tried it with a crinoline slip, which gives the dress more volume in the bottom and a bit of movement but not much. Then I tried it with a hoop skirt and it was giving Bo Peep vibes. As nice as this dress is, I don't think it's for me, given the length of it. Perhaps raising the hem 2 or 3 inches would help. ... show more

This dress is beautiful and I got many compliments on it. I ordered this for a work party and it was perfect. The length is fairly long. I'm just under 5ft and it went to nearly my ankles. The material is thick and doesn't show and lines from what you're wearing underneath. The chest was slightly too big for me but a safety pin did the trick. I'm a B cup so this might work better for larger cup sizes. My waist is 25 inches and it fit perfectly. Minus the top being too large this was fantastic for what I needed ... show more

I ordered a M and this fits me perfectly. I'm 5'3 and I usually get M dresses and sometimes they are too long but this one is perfect. I love the Navy blue color as well. The belt is a cute accent to the dress. I feel like with out it, the dress is kind of boring. The dress is a really nice fabric as well. It is not cheap looking or see through at all. This is an absolutely beautiful dress very well made and simple yet different. The fabric is kind of a weird wide wale velvet corduroy stuff but it's very soft and subtle. The skirt swings around any kind of a fun way I'm very flattering for those of us who are not curved in the right places
