I agree with most here that the epilator works the best of the 3 tools and since this is what I wanted I'm quite pleased. I have threaded and waxed my face for a long time, and so the hairs are very fine on my face and this epilator works well on this type of hair. Which is great, because after a while waxing just doesn't quite grab the hair when it is fine - so this is a great purchase if you are having that issue. The toning and brush tools work ok, I have a Clarisonic that is so much better as a cleansing brush and the toning tool is fine, although I haven't seen major improvement with my skin. My main issue is that the conversion plug didn't come with the tool, as it says it will for North America purchases. So I did need to source my own plug converter. This wasn't difficult through Amazon, but was an added expense I hadn't expected to make. I did reach out to the seller to inform them that the plug converter was missing, and was told to check my package again. Which indicates they think I'm an idiot, which I am not. I did check again and lo and behold it really wasn't there. I informed them of this two more times and had given up ever getting the intended converter or any apology for the inconvenience, when they did come through with a small refund for the cost of the converter which is fine.

This is a review for the Braun FaceSpa Pro 911 Epilator 3–in-1 Epilating Cleansing and Skin Toning System. I have been using this for several weeks now to get a good idea if I really liked it or not. So far I do, although I do have some issues with it. This has 3 different pop-on tops that have three different functions. The first, already on when you open the box, is an epilator. There is also a brush for facial cleansing and another one that is supposedly for skin toning - it has a metal vibrating cap that helps disperse any lotion you put on your face. I would say the epilator works quite well. I think the trick to it working best and with the least amount of pain is to pull the skin taut enough so that you can place the epilator on it without having to exert too much pressure. If you do this correctly, it doesn’t hurt much at all. And I say this as a pain wimp although I admit tweezers don’t bother me. However, I believe because of this, I have a tough time really getting to the hair right under my chin - it’s just so hard to pull that area tight and still control the epilator so some hairs are left. There are also a couple of darker, courser hairs on each side of my mouth that I usually tweeze off. I found that this epilator has a problem with those unless those hairs are slightly grown out, and I don’t like to let that happen so I just prefer to tweeze those. As to the rest of my face, the epilator really works fantastic to get rid of all the peach fuzz and any foundation or B&B cream used afterwards just glides on. The cleanser brush is also very nice. I have a separate facial cleansing brush that I like even more, and that one comes with a self-sterilizing case. But this one is nice enough and it’s great that it comes with it. You can wash this brush in water afterwards. I am not a particular fan of the toning feature. It may just be me after almost a month of use I don’t see it make any difference in my skin tone and it doesn’t feel particularly well. It doesn’t hurt or cause any problems for me so this might work for you. Still, even with the reservations expressed above, this is recommended. Easy to use, clean, and it’s nice to have a cleansing system and epilator all in one.

I love the cleansing & toning features of this beauty tool, but not the epilator tool. I'm 51 years old and deal with facial hair on my chin, upper lip area, and around a mole located near the corner of my mouth. I have never tried epilating, so I was excited to try the epilator. Ouch! I am a wimp when it comes to face pain. I don't pluck or tweeze my hairs because it hurts too much. I found this to hurt about the same as tweezing, which I personally could not tolerate. I tried it in a couple of different areas and finally had to stop. I used to shave my chin hairs but recently discovered an "As Seen On TV" facial hair removal gadget that is totally pain free and does a good job, so I will stick with that. The other tools that came with the set are useful and they work well. The toning one is my favorite. It kind of reminds me of the jade roller or similar tools. I like that you can apply your serum or moisturizer directly to it. It does an excellent job of getting the serums into the skin. Plus, it has a cooling effect which is energizing. The cleansing brush works well, too. I had a big name brand cleansing brush that stopped working recently. This one is as good as it is. I do think this is a good set and if you are a fan of epilating, this may work for you.
