During the holiday season many purchases people make are "gifts" for another party. 1. How can you review an item that is a gift before you actually gifted it. 2. I might like it but not have any clue if the person actually using it is liking it. 3. How often do people come to you and say, "that gift you bought for me was......" My friends/family wouldn't tell me if they were unhappy with a gift I purchased for them. They are too polite for that. I found this based on appearance to be very nice and worth the money. Since I will not be actually using the product I can only rate it on appearance and that is not really helpful.

It was not as described. I actually didn't even pay attention to it until now, but it definitely is a smaller version, with less of everything. I purchased this because of the many different shades of eyeshadows, but only ended up with one large tray with 30 shades and 2 side trays with 10 shades each. So much for my 80 shades. I actually just went through my entire house looking for the kit from the picture I'm seeing in my past orders, thinking I never received this item. All along it's the BR product sitting in my bathroom with half of what I wanted. The picture is why I purchased this, the item itself is why I thought I never received what I purchased. Maybe they were short on supply when I ordered this item ???? Who knows.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas this past year for her to use as play makeup. Here we are 6 months later and she still has 85% of it left. The colors are very pigmented. VERY. A little goes a long way, especially for kids and play. The case is very sturdy as well. it's been dropped, thrown, and left outside overnight and the makeup inside is still in good working order. This would be prefect for someone just starting out using makeup since there are soooooo many colors to choose from. I've even been contemplating buying one for myself.

The pallet was great but the packaging was very sloppy. I got it two days late even though it was a prime package. The warping around the pallet was not good, in fact there was no bubble wrap around it at all. The tape was practically falling off and the box itself looked like it was pulled out from the recycle bin and just used as is. On to the pallet. The colors were very bright and vibrant. The way it opens is so cool in person it gives you a feeling of being so high class. You get three eye shadow sponged sticks, and small "blush" brush. I don't recommend on using the brush but if you in a pinch it will work.

this item came broken and I was really disappointed... and all the broken pieces mixed in with the other makeup....we gave it to our 12 year old for her birthday!! We will keep it because she really likes all the compartments and didnt seem broken hearted that it came crushed. I felt really bad when she opened it excited and it was broken. I give it 3 stars only because she liked it so much anyway and it seems like good quality otherwise.
