Don't be driven off by the price. It is very smooth, quiet, and the speed trigger is as good as it gets. The fact that is uses the same batteries as the rest of my Bosch tools is just icing on the cake.     • Beware - not sold by a USA company and warranty is good only in Europe.
Torture-tested this lightweight powerful saw by letting my wife use it in the woods (special pruning blades) to cut just about everything. She used to use the heavy duty Bosch 18-volt predecessor, but now prefers the newer one due to the reduced vibrations, smoother trigger control, ergonomics and lighter weight. The older one still runs just fine, but she prefers the GSA 18 V-LI C. Some suggestions: Use with the 5-AH Bosch LI batteries (run longer than the 3-AH). Get at least 2 such batteries. For pruning - Diablo pruning blades (she likes the longer 12" ones on this saw) P:S.: 05/21/18: a blade became jammed in the saw and the mounting spindle would not even turn to release it. The blade finally released after pulling and bouncing it a bit and the rotating release became unstuck. Then, the blade came out but would not allow for direct re- insertion in the normal press-in way. The blade receiver now has to be rotated and held with the fingers and then released for the blade to stay locked - an awkward proposition at best. Obviously something broke inside this blade receiver. I called Bosch USA and - after looking up the model and SN on my saw - was told that it was a European sold saw (I purchased it in the USA on Amazon) and that they couldn't honor the warranty. Bosch said to contact Amazon - which I did. Of course Amazon took care of the problem and accepted the return of the saw. Love Amazon! First Bosh tool I've ever had a problem with. ... show more

This is a good tool. Unfortunately, the suitcase is not included. The photo shows a suitcase that misleads customers. The seller should remove the photo suitcase. (google translated)
