These are not sheer. They are reasonable thickness. The color is very true to picture. They were exposed to sun from midday on and did not fade after being up late spring to fall like another brand did. They also washed well. Would purchase again.

I bought two of these last year & one this year in the taupe color. The color definitely does fade, but it seems that’s the thickness, material, has changed significantly. The new product as much thinner and lighter and blows around more easily. I prefer the thicker product in that block, the sun rays more, and did not blow quite as easily.
