I was worried that some reviews mentioned these didn’t mix well or tasted bland, but they’re great. We mixed them into 5-6oz of hot milk and they blended pretty well, maybe took a little effort to get some little bits mixed. They had a very good rich chocolate flavor. Not bland at all.

The box it came in and the wrapping around each individual bomb is super nice! Great to give as a gift. The two flavors (Fudge Brownie and Caramel Candy Cocoa) are good but not out of this world …but it’s very good for the price and I would gift it again. You might let the recipient of this gift know that this is hot chocolate so that they don’t rush to unwrap a ball and eat it (ie. for those that have never heard of hot chocolate bombs - I’ve heard that happen). There are instructions on how to prepare the hot chocolate both on the bottom of the box as well as on the inner flap when you open the box. The ingredients list and nutritional values are not very noticeable as it’s not written on the exterior of the box; it is written on a separate white paper which is folded and tucked under the chocolate bombs. At first, I couldn’t find the nutritional info but found it here under “Customer questions”. Glad they did add the insert but it would be better if they had this info on the bottom exterior of the box. Sometimes people might want to re-gift if it has too much sugar or fat but they won’t know this until they actually open the packaging. ... show more

I assumed these would dissolve quickly in warm/hot milk but they didn’t. The kids put them in and they just sat there and eventually came apart after about 3-5 min. The caramel flavor was also a bit too much. Both kids ended up pouring that one out.

    • Disappointed.. Overpriced and have very little flavor.
Bought these for my kids for Christmas… they love hot chocolate. I thought these would be great, especially considering all the positive reviews. However they both tried a bomb in their hot chocolate Christmas morning.. neither of them had much flavor. The caramel one actually changed the flavor of the hot chocolate in a bad way. I tried it myself.. Strange taste and we ended up dumping it out. My son tried the fudge bomb.. it had zero flavor. I was just expecting something more top notch for that kind of money. Would not recommend. We’ll just stick with good ole marshmallows.. maybe some Hershey bar pieces. ... show more
