Got this because the pair of snow boots my toddler has were a bit too short and he kept getting water in them when he jumped into puddles or played with snow at daycare. Still not super tall, but taller than most insulated boots out there. The handles are good for letting kids pull them off and on by themselves. I want to say I’m glad I ordered these despite some of the negative reviews. I have noticed a couple possible minor flaws in the craftsmanship of the boots. I’m hoping it is nothing too concerning or interferes with the purpose of these boots. Which is to keep my sons feet dry and warm. I am not too sure if these boots are official Bog boots or a knockoff. There are areas where you can see the glue on the fabric part of the boot. It appears a couple spots may be areas of concern as far as letting water or cold air in. I haven’t tried them on my son yet, so we shall see. I bought a size 9 for my toddler. I will hopefully update this review on a more positive note. Fingers crossed. ... show more

My son had a pair of boots that just wasn’t holding up to the wet snow we have had this winter. So I decided to give this pair a try. They work awesome. They held up really well to the wet snow and now to the mud. My 3 year old loves them and they are easy for him to pull on and take off by himself. Great boots and great quality. My 3 year old used these in -5 degree weather and his feet stayed warm. Full disclaimer, he was wearing wool socks but you can’t beat the quality of these boots. They keep my kids feet warm and dry and you can use them 3 out of 4 seasons.
