We ordered these boots to be able to muck around on our land, which has a spring/bog area, and for peace of mind with chiggers as we go camping in the summertime on our land. My boys had had Bogs snow boots in the past, and these, like those, fit well, are a flexible, sturdy rubber material, and are easy to put on and take off. The soles are nice and thick, too, which matters a lot where we are with osage orange thorn trees trying to spike our feet. Finally, my boys find these very comfortable: they choose to wear these as easy-to-put-on footwear in the backyard and for short trips, too. The only downside is the handles reduce the boot height quite a bit so we've had water pour in & fill them when my boys go a little too deep in the river, and these are not easy boots to dry out (take the inserts out, tip the boots so they're facing the sun or the heater). At the same time, those handles make it really easy to carry those boots. So what can you do? The height on these boots IS considerably taller than other kid-boot brands I looked at in this price range, which is why I got them. ... show more

I like the height of these boots as I was hoping to use them also for some snow play for my son. They fit him fine for a rain boot which is typically just a little loose. They come up over the calf and have those fantastic handles to pull on. I was quite pleased with them as the sole has a good grip and they feel like they're really well constructed. But alas, I'm not sure if we're keeping them because my son likes the dinosaur rain boots I ordered him more. ... show more

    • Great rain boot, easy on for little hands!
Awesome boots, great pattern that my 2 year old picked out and loves just as much in person. She loves how easy they are for her to put on, even without having to sit down to pull on. The handles are great and haven't had issues with water coming through them. These are super comfortable and she begs to put them for every occasion we leave the house, even when it's not really a great use for them, like sunny weather riding bikes. Great grip on the bottom, haven't experienced any slips even on our sloped driveway in heavy rain. Opening at top is big enough to stuff any pants down into but not big enough to be too gaping to let rain or wind come through easily. Overall an amazing boot and she will be using these for awhile since we bought them a size + up in hopes for extended use (haven't had any complaints from her about them being too big and she even runs in them even though they are very large for her so I think there is enough stability through the midfoot to keep feet from moving around too much). Seems well made and a nice boot but it appears to run small. I ordered 1 size up hoping for a bit of growing room but even with the size change his foot barely fit. The width at the boot opening is very slim as well. Heavier legs might make for a snug fit.

Great price and the quality of the rain boots exceeded expectations. We got these for mud at the farm so our son’s snow boots wouldn’t get ruined. We did size up so that our son could wear thicker socks in the boots in cooler weather if needed.
