I’m 5’4 and about 215 lbs, finding a dress that doesn’t feel hard to breathe in and flattering can be quite challenging! But this one blew my expectations out of the water. The material is stretchy and very soft it is thicker which is great with keeping me held together. I paired it with cropped sweater ( also on Amazon in my profile !). Only downside is I’m short so it’s pretty long but other than that it’s so cute and alternative! Dress it up or down with a tshirt over it and you got a whole new fit 💕 ... show more

I ordered a Small 5’5 130lbs. It fits comfortably and I liked the quality. It is a more heavyweight sweater type material so no issues being sheer. It has adjustable straps and hits me mid-calf. Daughter in law wore this dress and it looked adorable on her so I decided to give it a chance on this 63 year old body and loved it! I did wear a jean jacket with it as I’m uncomfortable with my arms showing and it was a bit chilly that evening. Could be worn with a sweater as well. The fabric is on the thicker side, holds its shape after a night of wear and even though it is a tight fit, it isn’t super clingy, showing every bump and curve. I’m 5’4”, 118 lbs, 32 DD and the size small fit great with proper adjustment of the straps. Yes, the adjustment pieces are plastic as one other reviewer pointed out but on the gray and cream colored dress it really isn’t that noticeable. I did order the black and white, abstract version of this same style dress and the adjustment pieces are more noticeable. I personally did not find the abstract pattern near as flattering as the checkered version. There is just something fun and unexpected with the checks!! I would say that if you were much shorter than 5ish feet then this dress may be really long on you. With heeled boots it was a perfect length for me. Would I recommend……yes! Would I buy again…….yes, already have. ;) ... show more

I was super excited for this but for one, the colors are off. I got the g-plaid brown and it's more of a pink-brown than the tan-brown that the picture shows. It's still pretty, but doesn't match any cover-up or sweater I was hoping to pair with it to make it wearable year round. It's also very short for a maxi dress, I'm 5'8 and this is a midi dress on me. The material is super stretchy, so I can stretch it to the maxi length for a short period, but it just shrinks back up. The fabric material is nice though and if you don't care about the shade or length all that much, then buy it! I still kept it despite the flaws because it's still a nice dress...just not really what I thought I was buying. P.S. you can size down if you want a super fitted vibe, the fabric doesn't hug if you buy it in your normal size ... show more

Item as pictured. Very soft and thick fabric. Great for the summer. I wore it as a maternity dress and continue to wear it pp. So needless to say that the elasticity is good! You can't tell that it was stretched out months ago. Fits like a glove.
