I got this as a beginner telescope to see if my 8 yr old son would like it. Very easy to setup. It is very light which surprised me. But I guess the quality of glass isn’t the highest. Overall it gets the job done. I was able to use the bracket and take some pics of the moon with my iPhone. It can be difficult to get a great pic because of how easy it can move even tightened down. This telescope, in my opinion, is ideal for beginners. Easy to put together and moderately simple to use. I put various telescopes in this price range to the test. The telescopes in this price range frequently have cheap construction. They tremble easily, making it difficult to concentrate on an object. The adjustments are not precise.     • Not worth the money. Hard to locate items
Feels very cheap. Lots of plastic that doesn’t fit together very well. Tolerances are loose. Lenses look like there is dirty oil between the lenses creating swirl patterns. Maybe look for a better item even for beginners.
