I've been buying this planner for years. It has everything needed for planning. The months are noted and divided with attractive dividers. Each month contains a full page calendar and behind that are weekly calendars with about 5 lines to each week. At the back of the calendars you will find several lined sheets of paper. I use these for "to do" lists but they can be used for whatever you like. The overall calendar has a very sturdy plastic cover and backing which can be easily cleaned by hand. It is spiral bound and that also is very sturdy - never a worry about it coming apart. I like simple planners. I want to see the month at a glance with the option of seeing the week at a glance. This has both which is perfect for me. I don't like planners that look "busy" as they tend to make the page feel cluttered. This planner has simple font and coloring which doesn't compete with my writing. The outside of the planner has a clear plastic thick cover for protection and a thich plastic blue cover on the back also for protection. This planner also follows the school year calendar (July-June) which I need for my job. Overall, a nice, simple planner for a great price. ... show more

This is my second planner from Blue Sky, and I'm glad to say it is exactly as wonderful as its predecessor. A dependable, attractive item with an elegantly simple layout. It fulfills all of my scheduling needs for long and short-term planning with no distracting or confusing elements common in its competitors. The size is perfect for carrying by hand and easily fits in small purses. The spine is the perfect size to hold a pen for easy access. I love the way this planner is arranged--the only thing I'd like to see added to it would be pockets. But I bought some vinyl pockets to attach to the front and back, which work great. My favorite way to use this planner is to write all upcoming activities (or potential activities) in pencil in the monthly view--#2 Ticonderoga, of course! Easily erased if I decide to bag an activity or move an appointment. I use pen or pencil in the daily views to write what I actually did that day--more like a diary, including notes on exercise, dinner, entertainment, etc. Every year at the end of the year I create one Word doc with the most important notes or events from the paper journal. I like using a paper journal to keep me organized daily because I need a break from doing everything else electronically. Only minus one star for lack of pockets. Otherwise perfect. ... show more

Very pretty, sturdy, and has everything included for keeping my appointments in order. There is plenty of space on the monthly two-page calendar to write appointments. I've been using these calendars for 5 years, and I can always count on receiving a calendar that will last all year.

I think this is my fourth year buying this same size and format of Blue Sky planners. The hard plastic cover and the tabs on these calendars are really sturdy and hold up incredibly well to a year of being pulled in and out of my bag every day. I really like this 5x8 size and I find it very helpful to have both the whole month on a spread with the tab as well as one week per spread for more room to write on each day. I also prefer this format where each weekend day has the same amount of space as each week day and then there is a little weekly to-do and notes space. Having the bonus two months that overlap with the previous year is great for transitioning. It might be even better if the bonus months were one on each end instead of both at the beginning. ... show more
