I am blown away by this jar. That is not an understatement. When I ordered it, I wasn't expecting it to be very large, even though the listing says it's 12x6. It doesn't convey how large the jar really is. It's a little over 12 inches tall and 6 inches wide and very heavy. It's definitely not a flimsy piece. The artistry of the jar is elegant and charming, and looks much more expensive than the actual price tag. The whole jar has an authentic feel to it, and it looks wonderful on my mantel. I'd originally gotten it to put flowers in as a vase, but I feel like that detracts from how pretty it is. The lid is part of the whole look, and I really feel like it needs to be with the jar. However, this would make a lovely vase, if that's what you're looking for. My one complaint is that the lid doesn't sit well on the top. It slides around a bit, so I do wish it had a bit of a rim to hold the lid. Otherwise, it's gorgeous. It won't be jiggled around where it is, so I don't need to worry about the lid falling off. Honestly, for the price, it couldn't be much better.

This is a very pretty jar. It was packaged very well and arrived without any damage. I love the colors of the jar and it looks really nice as an accent piece in our spare bedroom. I like that it has such a pretty design and beautiful blue colors. The porcelain is quite thick and I think that it would be hard to damage, short of falling from a decent height to a hard floor. This is a great piece for the price. I know that there are more expensive jars out there that are of better quality, but those will come with a higher price tag. I love this one anyway.

My dining room is deep navy and white. I saw this jar and thought it would look elegant as part of my decor. I'm not at all disappointed. This canister has a nice weight and size. The blue print on the white background looks gorgeous and very classy. My only company is that the lif has no kind of seal on it to protect the contents from air or to soften the lid being set in place. I'm really happy with this lovely piece. It's excellent quality and looks so nice in my dining room!
