I bought these shoes I don’t know how long ago - maybe a couple years ago? - and forgot about them. I was looking for white boat shoes and loved the pop of color at the back of the heel. I normally wear size 7 in Nike, Puma, and Saucony running shoes, I measure at a size 7 on the Brannock device, and I wear a size 37 in EU which is about 23.5 cm. I went with a size 6.5 for this shoe. I finally wore them this year and they fit fine. My toes are right at the edge, but they’re not uncomfortably scrunched up or bent. I love that they have knotted laces and love even more that they have a memory foam insole because I’m now dealing with plantar fasciitis. What I did not expect was the non-marking bottoms. I don’t know what the technical term is and had hoped to find it in the description. Alas, it’s not mentioned there. What I mean is that there’s a sort of fuzz glued to the outsoles that makes it so these shoes don’t leave scuff marks on hard floors. What that means to me is that they’re perfect for dance floors where regular rubber outsoles would stick and prevent you from making smooth turns. I put these on and was hitting double spins, triples, quadruples… whatever my partner threw at me I could handle so long as I could keep spotting. They’re breathable and slightly elastic, the sole is flexible and performs well, and they feel like they’re durable too. People have remarked on how surprised they were I could dance in these. I smile and give credit to the remarkable design Blowfish put into these shoes. I really like that they’re low profile and minimalist on decorations. I wish they came in black. I hope I can find more like them in another similar style. If you’re looking for some street shoes that won’t scuff floors or street shoes you can social dance in, these are perfect :-) I highly recommend them. ... show more

Love the shoes. They’re very comfortable and lightweight. They’re also very cute! Just know they run very large. I am typically a size 8 and returned for a size 7 which is still too large. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because sizing is way off.

They fit a little loose barefoot (my preference for summer) but fit perfect with athletic socks. Super comfy and cute 😍. Nicer in person than pictured. Sole is a little stiff, but they are brand new lol!!! Great quality as I've come to expect from Malibu. 😊

I really love these sneakers, and I was so happy to add them to my sneaker arsenal. However, reading reviews for footwear we have to remember that they are 100% subjective. The shoes will fit some loose and others tight. Unfortunately it's a guessing game when you cannot try them on before making the purchase. I purchased my regular size in sneakers, and right out of the box they fit too big. I made some adjustments with the laces and then they fit perfectly. My ankle didn't slip and the width was no longer too loose. Bliss! As far as comfort it's there, but I could not see me walking in them for any extended length of time. This is a flat shoe offering very little support. The insole is padded nicely and made of memory foam so that's a plus. The inside of the shoe is made of terrycloth and very soft. The bottom of the sole is very firm like all of my Blowfish, and I don't see it wearing down anytime soon. There is a "flocking" on the sole bottom- like my others- that I have yet to discover why. They can be slippery when walking on linoleum and tile because of it. I know this because I nearly hit the deck walking across my kitchen floor.... Overall I recommend this super cute sneaker, but I do caution about making your purchase decision based on reviews. ... show more

    • SO cute, but you need a shoehorn to get them on
Too cute for words. I normally wear an 8 1/2 or a 9, and ordered the 9 because I'd be wearing socks with it. The fit was perfect EXCEPT for the heel cup, I had to put those heel grippers in it so my heel wouldn't slip out. Without socks the heel grippers are not enough, so socks are a must. Also, you can't use the laces to tie them, they're too short and knotted at the ends; they're meant to slip on only. The problem is, I can't do that, and I don't have a wide foot or a high arch either, so must use a shoehorn, which is a real pain in the you know where. I suppose I could do it without a shoe horn, but then the socks get pushed back so far they're really tight at the toes, which is not only uncomfortable, it greatly reduces the longevity of your socks. So if I'm ever going to go anywhere where I'm going to have to take them off and then put them back on, I'll have to bring a shoehorn with me. Keep this in mind. As for buying longer laces, I purchased these sneakers in the denim blue and they have a "distressed " look, so finding laces with a similar color will be a challenge. A regular navy color would look jarring, which doesn't work for me. Love this distressed look, it definitely adds to the cuteness. From what I can tell from the photographs, they all look like they have this distressed look, just FYI. Oh, one last thing, there Is no arch support, so if this is important to you, you'll need to put in your own. Depending on how they usually affect the fit of the shoes you normally buy, you might need to order half a size up. So those are the pros and the cons from my perspective, your call. ... show more
