I wear and exact 5 1/2 shoe and my feet are a little wide.Most shoes vary a little bit, and these do, I wear a size 6 in this brand, I bought 3 different pairs of theses shoes. They slide on with a little assist, and they are very comfortable. They have cushion with the inserts, but i don't think if you have really bad feet you would wear them for a period of time. I don't have very high arches, and these shoes do not support people with high arches. I've worn these for a while now, and I put another pair of inserts in them, still comfortable. Fav slide in sneakers these are perfect, they are durable—havent had any stitching come undone, no small holes forming, functionality I can wear these for many diff activities or not, cushion gd but I did use a light insert for when Im doing a lot of walking/errands & for my Arch support. Once insert is used you will need a thinner sock cause it takes up space. But without insert its not an issue. Super cute. Not great for a lot of walking - went to a college football game and ended up with a blister on the side of my little toe. There’s a seam inside the shoe that rubbed my toe. These are definitely cute for every day wear though.

This is my fourth pair. I wear them all summer long. My only complaint is that the insert is always coming out. I normally have to reglue them with a significant amount of crazy glue to keep them in.
