I started wearing Malibu canvas shoes several years ago. The Marley style is my favorite. I have gone through probably 2 dozen pair, all different colors. I love them! They are comfortable, cute, and easy. I rotate them, and they last a good couple of years. If you are flexible on color, you can get them as low as $21.00. I love these new black ones. I have a wide foot, and the 7.5 is just right for me. The only drawback is if you have arch problems. This shoe does not have real arch support. Luckily I don’t have that issue. You could put supports in if needed. Otherwise would recommend trying a pair. ... show more

These are great to wear sockless. The tongue is a bit tricky to fit but the tongue is comfortable because it's wide. Just hold the tongue while slipping them on and fiddle a bit and all should be good. I'm even wearing these on the milder days of Wisconsin winters. The threads loosen up due to the rough edge sewing for 'the look' of the shoe (carefree and loose). I just snip them off. Does not harm the shoe that I can tell. These are adorable and so easy to get on and off. They’re pretty close to size I wear an 8 or 8.5 and got an 8 and it’s good. It’s snug in width but I expect will loosen as I wear them because of the elastic in lieu of laces. I expect these would not be good for anyone on the wide side of a normal width. Love these shoes, so comfortable and the color goes with most anything. I would not suggest them for working out; I believe they are more for hanging around/casual/long walks. The only downside I find in them is I need a shoehorn to get them on as the back tends to fold down (wish they had a little pull back there) and the "tongues" slip in on the top of my foot (requires you to pull on them so they aren't bunched up and cause a blister) . Absolutely love these shoes! I buy a new pair every other year without fail. They're great for narrow feet, they are true to size. So comfortable! I am returning this recent purchase unfortunately because the photo on Amazon is inaccurate. It shows black fabric with black thread (which I love!). But when I received the shoes in the mail it has black fabric with white thread (I dislike when the fabric and thread don't match so I'm returning them!). I'll try another color and see if the photo is accurate this time! ... show more
