I ordered a Large based on my 40 inch hips and it "fit" me perfectly. Unfortunately, I have an extremely short waist, and I am realizing that these high waisted swim suits just don't quite look right on me no matter how many I try. If you like high waisted suits, I highly recommend this one! If you have a super short waist and you keep hoping the next one will look better...it won't. Trust me, I've tried. I have several shirts from Blooming Jelly so I kind of had a feeling how this would fit already. I ordered a medium. Accounting for holiday weight I'm probably 131 pounds, 5'3, and usually wear a medium in clothes but Blooming Jelly tends to run slightly large so their mediums are a little roomy on me. The bottom of this for great. It comes up high and covers your belly button and has ruching. I really liked that the top is regular strap looking from the front but I'm the back they're crossed in an X and then the fabric gets tied under the straps. It covers enough of my chest and doesn't make me self conscious but you can also do the thing where once the suit is holding you in place you can lift the girls up so more skin is revealed and you show the cleavage if you want. Women know what I'm talking about. But if I could have made one modification it would be to use a little bit less fabric on the cups. There's just a little more than is needed, and I tried to make up for it by tying the fabric tighter but that just makes it tighter around my rib cage and can't change the amount of cup fabric. I think this is a flattering suit and a color that will look good on anyone. If you think you may be in between sizes it is probably a good idea for you to size down, for any Blooming Jelly, now that I know the bathing suit really does run similar to their shirts and sweaters.

This bikini set is great! It is made very well with good quality materials. It has nice details with the ruching on the sides of the bottom, and the draw strings have nice metal pieces at the ends. The top has a nice criss-cross design. The fit is true to size, and it is easily adjustable - both the bra's band, as well as the straps. For the bottoms, you can adjust how high the waistline and thigh opening is depending on how tightly you pull on the drawstrings. Overall, I am very happy with this bikini set and would definitely recommend it.

This Blooming Jelly Womens High Waisted Bikini runs on the large size. Amazon suggested I get a Medium, but I should have followed the Blooming Jelly sizing chart (duh) and ordered a Small, or even an Extra Small. I like the fabric and quality of this bikini - it really is made well. I love the high waist that it ties in the back. Plus, the straps can be worn traditionally or crossed in the back. For reference, I'm a size 6 or 8 in jeans, wear a 34C, and am 5'3 inches, and should have ordered a small.

This swimsuit is made of great material. The design is super cute . I loved the scrunchie sides on the bottoms. I ordered the XL which ch was the biggest side but the top is not big enough. I wear an H cup so anything over a D cup I wouldn’t advise. I still love the set. The crisscross straps and band in the front are a nice touch. I would def recommend this suit for the right size.

This bathing suit is really cute and comfortable to wear. The top is lightly padded but they are removable if you don’t like them. I appreciate the tummy control keeping the dreaded muffin top at bay while at the pool. The straps cross on the back so they don’t fall off my shoulders and the strap length adjusts easily. The tie in the back enables you to make the bust as tight as you want. The bottoms are comfortable and I like the look of the ribbing on the sides. I look forward to getting a lot of use out of this swimsuit.
