I am 5'4" 145-150 lbs and usually go for size 10-12. For this blouse listing, size 10=L and size 12=XL, so I had to pick a side. Since I don't like tight or form fitting clothing, I went with size 12/XL. This is a more flowy type blouse I think, and seems a bit too generous for me at size 12/XL; so I probably should have gone with size 10/L in this case. Hard to say. I do like the sleeve style on this blouse either way. Some synthetic fabrics have a nicer feel than others, I find; this is definitely your classic dress polyester fabric. There is pleating running down the front of the shoulder/upper chest area. It looks good on the model, but I couldn't get it to sit quite right in a flattering way when I wore it. Don't know if ironing would help set the pleat better - but I am not a fan of having to iron if I can get away with it! I think I will play with it further, maybe try tucking the front in. It should be fine for casual relaxed wear. ... show more
