Great camera and bright floodlights. It’s great at detecting motion night or day and has impressive quality of video if watching live or reviewing a video from some time earlier. The motion detection has a good range and also has settings in the app where you can adjust the sensitivity and range. The IR capabilities are great and doesn’t lack when watching during the night time. Within the app there are so many more settings and features you are able to adjust. Definitely a good all around camera floodlight combo. It also has really good WiFi detection and works really well when placed a good distance from your router. I actually have a wired floodlight over my front stoop, but can never seem to get the thing to turn off and only come on when it senses motion. It seems like it's either always on or always off at night. And I've replaced the unit a couple of times with different ones, so I decided to invest in a Blink flood light. Even though it is battery operated, I do like that it works in concert with the Blink camera and the motion zones you can set up. So realistically, the flood light does not come on unless my camera is actually sensing motion. So we even though it is battery operated it has only come on a couple of times over the course of a couple of days. And I live on a very busy city street that's treated like a speedway and has a decent amount of pedestrian traffic. I actually sat and timed my wired light....it would trigger every couple of minutes even with nothing there so it was just weird. I'm really happy with the Blink flood light. I would just encourage use of motion trigger zones.....that'll help on how often it really comes on. ... show more

    • Update! Flood light no longer works

Update!! Blink immediately reached out to me via email and offered replacement. Replacement made it to me very quickly, works as it should and returned old device in same box and label they included for the return shipping. Excellent customer service. Has been in use, worked well until 1 year later and flood light will no longer come on. Have replaced batteries and made sure installed correctly. Made sure that the cord between camera and flood light properly connected. Made sure the settings in the app correctly set up. Can push the “light on button” and the app will tell me it’s turned on, but it’s not. Not sure what to do with it now. Was expensive set up. ... show more
